The two points that impressed me the most in this film are Mr. Tachibana’s words: "We just need to stay here and bleed." In one sentence, he did his best to be a policeman, decisively and conscientiously as an undercover agent. ,sorrow. The other is at the end of the film, when Mr. Orange tells Mr. Bai that he is a policeman (said it several times), the close-up of Mr. Bai’s face of despair and pain, the kind of betrayal that he is willing to spare his life to protect. The man whom an old friend believed in turned out to be an undercover agent. At this time, I remembered the scene where Mr. Bai recalled Mr. Orange's painstakingly asking his real name; I remembered Mr. Bai’s no doubt about him; I remembered Mr. Bai’s out-of-date sincere compliment when he approached Mr. Orange: You are really handsome. In Lust Caution, Wang Jiazhi reminded Mr. Yi at the last moment, and Mr. Orange kept performing his duties till the last moment. The clown being played with was only Mr. Bai who is the most affectionate, Mr. Bai who was betrayed by the most trusted "good boy", Mr. Bai, the liar that others called him, finally walked into the trap set by Orange without any doubt. Mingzhe protects himself, the timid and professional fan seems to have become the biggest winner.
If we must think that Quentin’s film expresses what views, what values it intends to convey, and at the same time uses the ending as the criterion for judging, we might say that Quentin wants to promote the law of police and criminals that is invincible; maybe; I would say, don’t be too emotional, be cautious like Mr. Fan; maybe educate your children, see, this is the end of stealing. However, if we are not trying to dig out meaning from the full screen of swear words and bloody violence, but just as a good story, we may have different feelings. This is a story that can be explained in one sentence: six people went to grab the diamonds, and after the failure, there was an internal fight, and in the end only one person remained. The story is simple, but the film narrative language is more brilliant. It is said that Quentin’s so-called personality labels, tuberculosis, swear words, sex, and bloody violence are all reflected in this movie. If it can be modified appropriately, the film should become more refined, but at the same time, it may also lose some of the rough texture of a personalized director.
