3.5. The city of God abandoned by God. My resource subtitles are different; I have been translating "City of God" into "City of God", which is of course no problem. In the film, when the blacks in the city of God held a Christian ceremony before the robbery, they couldn't help feeling the cultural influence of the European colonists on the colony, which was a violent and bloody cultural output. This film can be described as a model of "killing without blinking"; however, I like this violent aesthetic. In the film, the more understatement of murder and robbery, the heavier it will hit people's hearts; this is a very good film technique, which is worth learning from. The protagonists invited in the film are all non-professional extras; their acting skills are smooth and good, which makes people feel that they are not acting, but are really carrying out their daily lives. (There is no love and peace in their lives, only violence and betrayal.) The early stage of the film uses a lot of narration, which is a bit cumbersome; I think it's okay. It was not until the end of the film that I firmly believed that the protagonist of the film was "Little Overlord"; the film was the history of the "Little Bean" in the slums to the "Little Overlord" who was on the throne.
