Falling like a meteor

The impact of this movie on me is too great. Tony played by Al Pacino is like a shooting star. That kind of fanatic power eventually destroyed everyone around him, including himself. The self-destructive sprint forward is unforgettable for a long time.

Attach one of my favorite passages.

Tony: You're all a bunch of fucking assholes. You know why? You don't have the guts to be what you want to be. You need people like me. You need people like me so you can point your fucking fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." So, what does that make you? Good? You're not good. You just know how to hide, how to lie. Me, I don't have that problem. Me, I always tell the truth. Even when I lie. So say good night to the bad guy! The last time you gonna see a bad guy like this again, let me tell you. Come on. Make way for the bad guy. There's a bad guy coming through! Better get out of his way!

Ps: Before this passage, the words Elvira and Tony said were also very profound, and I will add them when I feel in the mood.

The reason why it was written as a movie review was just because Tony's lines couldn't be written in the short review! (So...Should a certain flap improve the word limit for short reviews?

[Reviewed in January 20] De Palma, who is obsessed with video, and Stone, who is always political, twisted and forcibly picked melons together. It feels like a movie with a girl who can’t control it. Every part is I had to rely on Pacino's crazy performance to support it, and the advancement was completely based on roaring, which also affected many superficial gangster films in later generations; but the villain eventually died due to his own conscience, and it was quite Noir.

When I watched it at the time, I was deeply shocked by Apa's self-destructive aura, gangsters, too impulsive, and high emotional intelligence.

  • Tony Montana: Every dog has his day, huh, Mel?

Mel Bernstein: I told him. It didn't make any sense, clipping you when we had you working for us. He wouldn't listen. He got hot tonight, about the broad, you know? He fucked up.

Tony Montana: You too, Mel. You fucked up.

Mel Bernstein: Don't go too far, Tony.

Tony Montana: I not, Mel, you are.

[Tony shoots Bernstein in the gut; he gasps and groans]

Mel Bernstein: Fuck. You can't shoot a cop!

Tony Montana: Whoever says you was one?

[Tony leans forward, aiming the gun at Bernstein]

Mel Bernstein: Wait a minute! You let me go, I'll fix this up.

Tony Montana: Sure, Mel. Maybe you can hand out yourself one of them first class tickets to the Resurrection.

Mel Bernstein: Fucking punk. Son of a bitch.

Tony Montana: [stands up] So long, Mel, have a good trip.

    Mel Bernstein: Fuck you!
