Fierce enough-"The Bourne"

In the previous essay, I wrote that "profound art films are made everywhere, but profound commercial films are only made in Hollywood". After reading "The Bourne Vestige" 2 and 3, I strengthened my opinion even more. Not to mention the compact plot with constant climax, not to mention the wonderful and smooth action chase, just to say that the back of Bonn, who is walking alone on the exotic snow with lame legs, gives me a shock that no previous movie has ever had.

"The Bourne" series has profound philosophical implications. I thought of "Sophie's World" more than once when I watched the film. The "God" there is the author of the book, jokingly controlling Sophie's destiny. Here is a powerful authority that is ubiquitous and can cast a net of heaven and earth. The same insignificant individuals fought hard to get rid of the sexual humiliation of rights and strive for a human dignity. France, Switzerland, Germany, Britain, India, Russia, Spain... Bonn ran exhaustedly, searching for himself, searching for answers, but this involved a bigger scandal.

If I use three words to describe the feelings of the three "Bourage", I think "The Bourne" 1 is true, "The Bourne" 2 is tragic, and "The Bourne" 3 is gorgeous. The talent of the director is full of the trilogy, and Matt Damon himself is very civilian, so the sparks are everywhere, the burst of brilliance is dizzying, and the admiration is extreme. Another point is that, unintentionally or intentionally, several female characters in the film are set up to be honest, selfless, and human, while several abusive, cruel and selfish characters are all male. I don’t know whether the director or screenwriter is directed at women. The favor of the audience is the hatred of the patriarchal society. But by replacing several executives with women, you can hope that humanity will win, after all, it is just a limitation of the movie. The reality is that ugliness is everywhere, whether at the top of the pyramid or the pawns at the bottom. There is no distinction between men and women. Although rationally I believe that everything is normally distributed according to probability, ugliness still almost blinds my eyes. I think politics is dirty, which means nothing, just like I don’t like to eat yam.

I heard that Universal is preparing for the shooting of "The Bourne" 4, which has been clearly hinted at the end of "The Bourne" 3. Hollywood policy makers are insatiably greedy and angry. Although I am very reluctant to turn Bonn into 007, it is a century-old age, but thinking that Bonn can continue to live forever, it is not a thing that makes people adrenaline surge. Movies, even Sheriff McLaren, who is already aging and crippled, can still make a gorgeous appearance on the stage. Is there any reason to prevent Bonn from appearing again? It's just that I can't help but say that the trilogy of "Bourne Bourne" is so perfect, so perfect!

The Bourne Identity quotes

  • The Professor: I work alone, like you. We always work alone.

  • Conklin: You're worried about a budget meeting? If we don't take care of this, we don't make it to the men's room. Is that clear enough for you? We will burn for this. We will both of us burn.
