What Dumbledore said to Harry about the Mirror of Eris:
But remember this, Harry.
But remember, Harry.
This mirror gives us neither knowledge or truth.
What this mirror gives us is not knowledge or truth.
Men have wasted away in front of it, even gone mad.
Too many people spend their time in front of the mirror and even go crazy because of it.
That is why tomorrow, it will be moved to a new home.
That's why, it will be moved to another place tomorrow.
And I must ask you not to go looking for it again.
And I must say, please stop looking for this mirror.
It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live.
One cannot waste time in dreams and forget about life.
Watching this movie after adulthood, I think this passage is very philosophical.
