Don't give up life by relying on dreams

"There is no magic in this world"

"They don't understand magic, they are cannabis melons"

This evening I went to see the re-screening of "The Sorcerer's Stone" alone. It was also the first movie I saw in the cinema since I watched the old driver's "Star Wars IX" in December last year. After a long absence, when the big screen was on. At the beginning, the familiar title appeared in front of me, I was really excited and excited!

This "Sorcerer's Stone", which was released in 2001, will soon be 19 years old. I think most of the friends who read this film review should regard him as a good childhood memory.

This movie is worthy of praise in terms of plot, special effects, and actors (Jingta + Loli). It is also one of my favorites in the Harry Potter series.

After being released for so many years, many actors have left us, including the well-known Alan Rickman, the "Professor Snape" who always protects us behind his back, and the first "Professor Dumbledore Richard Harris, and Harry's uncle.

"This platform leads to the wizarding world, and I hope they stay in the wizarding world"

There are really too many memories about "Sorcerer's Stone":

Owls, bank elves, magic wands, Quidditch, wizard chess, invisibility cloak, furry, and that silly giant...

When I looked back at this movie again, I also had some new feelings:

Harry discovered various talents in "The Sorcerer's Stone", and started to prove through his own efforts at Hogwarts that he "will do great thing" as predicted. It seems that Harry has never used it before. Magic, and Ron and Hermione in the trio have shown it many times, and Harry has courage and friendship, as well as the prophecy of the savior in the magic world;

In addition to being cute (it is said that the director chose the role because his face can make a variety of different expressions), he is also very responsible, which is very well described in "True Wizard Chess"

"Harry, you must keep going. It is not me who should go, not Hermione, but you." ;

Hermione is a very agile and spiritual female schoolmaster, who works very hard, just like using the clone potion in the next few parts to learn a different lesson;

Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall, Hagrid, Neville, and Malfoy’s characters are also very good.

Especially the hidden line of Professor Snape really surprised me. Every time I look at this line, I will admire and be surprised!

It has always been like this: eternal love, silently guarding

Neville was originally a stuttering and timid fat kid, but he was brave enough to stop his friends from doing something that would "harm everyone". Now, we can no longer guarantee our publicity and justice!

The philosophical question of the Mirror of Eris:

The happiest person in the world can see the true self in the mirror, and what the mirror reflects is exactly what we desire most in our hearts. But mirrors cannot provide us with real knowledge or truth. Human beings always spend their time in mirrors, and even go crazy because of it. People can't live in dreams, don't give up life by relying on dreams. (Dumbledore dialogue in the film)

PS: Hogwarts faculty's emergency response to emergencies seems very tasteless

When Voldemort appeared, Harry and his friends began a new adventure story.

Finally, I hope that in the wizarding world, we are all excellent wizards!

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone quotes

  • [about the Bludgers]

    Oliver Wood: Nasty little buggers.

  • Hagrid: You all right there, Harry? You seem very quiet.

    Harry: He killed my parents, didn't he?

    [puts a hand to his scar]

    Harry: The one who gave me this?

    [Hagrid is silent]

    Harry: You know, Hagrid. I know you do.

    [Hagrid sighs and pushes his bowl aside]

    Hagrid: First - and understand this, Harry, 'cause it's very important - not all wizards are good. Some of them go bad. A few years ago there was one wizard that went as bad as you can go, and his name was V-

    [sighs]

    Hagrid: his name was V...

    Harry: Maybe if you wrote it down...

    Hagrid: Nah, I can't spell it. Alright

    [whispers]

    Hagrid: 'Voldemort'

    Harry: [loudly] Voldemort?

    Hagrid: Shhh! It was dark times, Harry, dark times. Voldemort started to gather some followers, brought 'em over to the dark side. Anyone who stood up to him ended up dead. Your parents fought against him, but nobody lived once he decided to kill them. Nobody... not one... 'cept you.

    Harry: Me? Voldemort tried to kill... ME?

    Hagrid: Yes. That ain't no ordinary cut on your forehead. A mark like that only comes from being touched by a curse, and an evil curse at that.

    Harry: What happened to Vol- to You-Know-Who?

    Hagrid: Well, some say he died. Codswallop in my opinion. Nope, I reckon he's still out there, too tired to carry on. But one thing's certain, something about you stumped him that night. That's why you're famous, Harry, that's why everybody knows your name. You're the boy who lived.
