Sure enough, it took a few days to finish reading. This film mainly tells the story of Mike becoming a new generation of godfather. In the middle is inserted a few stories of the old godfather from childhood to becoming a generation of godfather. There are two completely different situations. The old godfather's family is happy. , And what Mike faced was the departure of his wife and the betrayal of his brother. He seemed to have "nothing". Although the story is about the Corleone family mafia, what I see is more of Mike's maintenance and responsibility to his family and his brother. Fredo betrayed him. He told Fredo at the ball that he would forgive him. When he ran away, Mike also told him to get in the car. The second brother ran away by himself, but what I didn’t understand was why he was there. After their mother died, Mike also forgave his brother. Why did he kill him? It was because he didn't forgive him. Maybe Mike should marry a wife who understands him, knowing that if he truce, others will not let them go. He is facing the danger of shooting anytime and anywhere (personal opinion). The last part, Mike recalled on his father’s birthday, With his brothers and sisters together, he was the only one who wanted to refuse to accept the arrangement of the family and became a soldier. At the beginning, he was the least willing to intervene in the Mafia. As a result, he really supported the current Corleone family. In the end, he was the only one sitting at the table, as if he had always been so lonely.
