"Hot Blood Detective" and localism
Thoughts = empty words are clear
Now, there is an atmosphere gliding toward hatred and anger. People splashed dirty water to their heart's content, hoping to make their mood cleaner. Someone shouted: "The world has turned to the right." The left and right are blurred, and the distortion is endless. However, there is no need to be surprised. In comedy on earth, things were like this before.
The comedy many years ago, "The Hot Blood Detective", may relax the tension between left and right. It shows the absurd appearance of the derogatory Yupai—very realistic. "Hot Blood Detective" has a clear ideological orientation, presumably, we can see the situation in reality that makes people have to laugh wryly. It is not against simple criminals, but from the perspective of the derogatory sect that brings problems to the world. Generally speaking, this perspective is the derogatory "populism" and the derogatory "conservatism". The word "derogatory" is added here to identify the negative aspects of the consciousness involved.
At the beginning of the story, the male protagonist of "Hot Blood Detective" is an elite police officer in the City of London. He has first-class business, loves the police career, demands himself with high standards, and does his job very well-this is a model. He felt that he should be promoted, but the leader was ready to drive him away. The small leader, the middle leader, and the big leader all decided to drive him away; all the police officers except him also wanted to drive him away. The reason is that he did a job so well that it made other people's results look ugly. He was accused of lack of "team spirit".
Presumably, if you hate this kind of distortion of "justice", then you can call it "banal evil." However, your disgust is likely to be invalid. People are more willing to regard it as "the good of mediocrity." They believe that "justice" should be mediocre, and the opinion of the majority is justice. At this time, there is no more reason to say, because if you talk too much, you may be stigmatized as a "traitor."
Strangely, there is also a label used to demean model, and that is "personal heroism" as a derogatory term. The sentence using this word, most of the time, it is difficult to distinguish the difference between "individualism" and "heroism", and so contradictory nonsense is used. This term is often used as the opposite of "team spirit." Only when you are submerged in the "team" can you be legitimate...
Possibly, the actor's experience here can be regarded as a derogatory "popular" performance. This is just a rough analogy, not a strict description—or, “it has nothing to do with reality”. The derogatory "populism" is a kind of Youpai, which emphasizes the interest orientation of the common people and denigrates the value of the elite. "Populist" is often regarded as lacking accurate principles, easy to be fooled, and easy to cause confusion. "Populists" often think that they can represent the country. Unfortunately, on the contrary, defenders of the state generally despise "populism" and regard it as a disaster.
In "Hot Blood Detective", a slightly "popular" police station prepares to drive away "elite police officers". It can be seen that the actor has reached a point where he can't make sense at all. It seems that many people think like this: "As long as everyone hates you, then you must be wrong, not everyone." They want to drive the actor to a village where the security looks "very good". Maybe, they are thinking that this way the male protagonist won't have good grades, because "good law and order" can't issue fines and can't catch criminals. They didn't expect that the actor would be driven to a place with a more derogatory atmosphere.
Since most people do not belong to the "elite", there may not be much dislike for the above-mentioned situation where everyone rejects the elite. However, "Hot Blood Detective" also shows a situation that may make more people feel uneasy and distorted-the kind of situation where there is no reason to say, abnormalities are regarded as normal, and repression is regarded as freedom.
The village where the actor was sent to, the law and order looks very good. There is a tight surveillance network and an atmosphere that looks very welcoming and "tolerant". However, the male protagonist found a lot of abnormal phenomena: there are also illegal phenomena here, but some locals deliberately fail to comply with the law in order to maintain the image of "good public security"-so there is no illegal record.
Later, the actor discovered that there was a group of "elders" in the local area who would use lynching to maintain law and order. Their organization on the surface is the "Neighborhood Monitoring Alliance", but in fact they are not just monitoring. In order to maintain the "beautiful image" of the local area, they committed many assassinations and murders. They called the reason for doing this: for the greater good. In order to protect the reputation of the place, killing a few people in private is completely tolerable and reasonable.
Their pride in the local area has reached such a crazy level. They hate foreigners, hate those who destroy the local image, hate those who want to leave the local area...for this reason, they kill whoever they hate. The local reputation is the only "justice", and for this, they are willing to do anything sinful. Probably, it can be called: local humanism combined with "populism".
This kind of thinking is quite a lot in reality. In order to maintain (often fictitiously) the reputation of their region, they distort facts, reverse black and white; distort history and cover up the dark side; distort values... Only allow praise (and sometimes pretend to criticize), they promote extreme "love localism." "Local" is the most perfect, even if it has shortcomings, it is much better than other places. Other places are simply garbage dumps. It may be said that for them, the "local" is God.
Of course, not everyone can be crazy to this degree. However, many people do not dare to question, or are too lazy to question, let the distorted values dominate the right to speak. It's roughly the same in "The Hot Blood Detective." Most of the police and people are not crazy "localists", but they all accept the strange sayings of "elders". They are not surprised, they are always too lazy to question, acting like "no fuss". As a result, people can tolerate all kinds of distortions.
This may be associated with the "banality of evil". People accept the distortions that have radiated without thinking, let the evil continue, and let the evil continue to flourish. In fact, I don’t think they should be blamed too much. After all, they have no right to fight. Therefore, in ordinary life, the "banal side of evil" is equivalent to the "banal side of good". Many people are accustomed to "not criticizing" and "not questioning" as "goodness." Many conservatives, knowing that they are weak, have to fantasize that they belong to a "big group", so as to get a dream-like sense of strength.
People (Zopai?) often criticize "Fassis" in this way. "Fassis" doesn't treat his "self" as an adult, so how can he treat his enemy as a human? Mutilation and distortion are therefore taken for granted. Ironically, in "Detective Hot Blood", the word "faxis" appears in the lines, which is used by an "elder" to scold the male protagonist. How can the protagonist who pursue fairness and justice be a "faxis"? This is no wonder, after all, the police and the term "police state" are related. However, in this movie, it is the "elders" who wantonly tortured the lives of others.
Under the influence of contemporary democratic myths, few people would admit that they are "fascism", so it has become a term used to scold the enemy. Therefore, it can be seen that a "fascist" element will call others "fascist." This is a bit ridiculous, but realistic.
At this point, I still have to sigh, how wonderful the words are, they can be used to reverse right and wrong, and they are so smooth. Especially in an environment dominated by the "derogatory ideology", the distortion of the truth has been taken for granted. In "Hot Blood Detective", all the evil "Youpai elements" were defeated. People can no longer be oppressed by the delusional "perfect" local image. In a comedy movie, it can give the audience a comfort, as if resisting distortion can go smoothly. Just comedy.
Although the term "derogatory Youpai" is used here, it does not mean that it must be derogatory. In many cases, the left and right are blurred, or they can be confused. It looks left, but it is actually very right. People may practice a greater evil when they resist a certain evil. Some people say, "Never make evil become more serious in order to deal with evil." This is simple to say. Probably, apart from a wry smile, fantasy can become a little more honest?
Don't feel resentful for the distortion of the world. Distorted distortion or just integrity? Keep silent, or watch a comedy.
The above discussion has nothing to do with reality, but just the appearance of words.
