After watching Lingyi Sixth Sense, I feel that it is not the same as the horror movies I watched before.
Because of the sixth sense, the little boy Cole has some words and deeds that are different from others, and he is treated as a freak by others. The psychiatrist wanted to help him. After gradually contacting and gaining Cole's trust, Cole told the doctor that he could see the ghost. Cole's life is often surrounded by fear, and there is nowhere to tell, the doctor advised him to try to face ghosts. As he kept trying, he found that he had less fear, and he could even sit down and talk to the ghost peacefully. Intentionally or unintentionally, there is more help to the deceased.
I think this drama is not only the plot, but also the actor's mastery and portrayal of the characters.
What impressed me the most in this play was the image of Cole’s mother:
Cole attended a party and was bullied by his classmates and locked in a cabinet. Because the party was lively, no matter what he shouted, others were just immersed in their own happiness. Mother Cole heard the sound and took the effort to open the cabinet door. She saw her frightened and fainted son rescued him, and warned other children not to hurt her son.
It seems that Cole's mother and grandma had a disagreement because of her dreams, but Cole told her that grandma had gone to watch her dancing secretly. When she asked at her mother's grave: Have you ever been proud of me? Cole told her grandmother: every day. she cried. I think many women are weak and emotional. Most often use tears to express their feelings when they are sad or moved, but they become strong after becoming a mother.
When facing people who are different from them, people are often used to suppressing and mocking them. In fact, we are often subjected to more pressures and blows in the process of studying and working. If there is disharmony in interpersonal relationships. It feels that the center of gravity of life is fluctuating and more difficult. Therefore, I often desire to be in a better atmosphere. And Cole is a child of a single parent family. Not only was his mother bearing the burden of family life, she was also under the pressure of confrontation with cold eyes and ridicule. Surrounded by multiple difficulties. The beautiful mother did not choose to flee, give up, or vent her anger on her child. Instead, he touched the child’s pain with tenderness, and covered the family’s sadness with tears.
Look at Cole again, my eyes stayed mostly on his eyes as soon as he came out. He is a child, but there is no childlike joy in his eyes, and he is always worried. Appears very mature. I didn't think he had any problems from beginning to end, but I suspected that the environment he was exposed to would cause him any problems in the future.
People often like to look at something from the surface, to see whether they like a person or hate a person, and see if he is moving forward from a specific track set by people. Few people observe a person's heart and the motivation and meaning behind something. If the phenomenon of following the crowd occurs to children, it is because their values are not fully formed. If they are adults, their behavior should be more inclined to their own gains and losses.
The atmosphere of this film made me feel like I was trapped in a dark room, but there was a hint of light. I think this is the glory of human nature. This is not so much a horror movie, as it is a warmth movie in my eyes.
When Cole helped the poisoned girl let her father know the truth. When the psychologist felt that the relationship between his wife and his wife was weakened due to the nature of his work, Cole told the doctor from the side that he had become a ghost, and the doctor realized that he should have let go. When doctors are caring for children who are not recognized with warmth and patience.
Let me know who gave up no matter what happens. There will always be someone around you unconditionally caring for you. At the same time, he has more thoughts on the doctor-patient relationship. There is an impressive sentence in the melting pot: "We are fighting all the way, not to change the world, but to prevent the world from changing us.
If destiny is a referee, whether it is talent, truth, or conscience, or the respect for the soul of the isolated and helpless children in the play, it should not be abandoned or changed.
