If you like each other, let's stay together. Don't use complicated terms to analyze each other. Make a party that loves men and women like a civil service exam. Experience is more important than results, isn't it?

Number seven score: 8.50

Synopsis

Photographer Jeffrey (James Stewart) broke his leg in an accident. He was boring every day when he was resting at home.

Apart from playing tricks with the nurse who took care of him, he could only pass the time by peeking at the neighbors around him from the window.

Ballerinas often practice dancing in the room. The piano composer sits alone in front of the piano and writes. The salesman on the second floor often quarrels with his wife who is bedridden for a long time. The couple on the third floor moves the bed to the balcony to sleep. There is no partner.

Almost everyone is immersed in their own life circle, just like all kinds of scenery, each has its own beauty .

Jeffery has a beautiful and wealthy girlfriend, Lisa (Grace Kelly) , and they love each other very much.

But he often worried about whether he was worthy of the beautiful girl who was born aristocratic.

That night, Lisa brought food and wine to visit Jeffery, and the two finally broke up because they didn't agree on the future.

Jeffery was in a bad mood. He couldn't sleep alone in a chair. Suddenly, there was a woman's scream outside the window, followed by the sound of something breaking.

He looked out the window and found nothing unusual. It may be that someone broke something by accident, so he didn't think much about it.

Until midnight, Jeffery, who had not fallen asleep, was awakened by thunder again, and it started to rain heavily outside, and the couple who slept on the third floor opposite were moving the bed into the house.

The salesman on the second floor opposite was going out, seeming to carry a heavy suitcase in his hand.

Jeffery thought it was weird. He looked at his watch subconsciously. It was almost two o'clock in the morning. It was raining again outside. Where is he going?

After a while, the salesman came back with the box, but the box didn't look so heavy.

But a few minutes later he went out again, and the box seemed to be filled with things again, so he went back and forth several times.

After daybreak, the rain stopped, and Jeffery, who was awake, felt that something was wrong the more he thought about it. What happened in the middle of the night made him suspicious.

So he took out his photography equipment, ready to spy on the salesman.

During the peeping process, he found that the salesman had taken out the newspaper and was packing something.

Jeffery replaced the equipment with a high-magnification lens and took a closer look. It turned out to be a knife and a saw , while the salesman’s bed-ridden wife disappeared...

Film Analysis

"Rear Window" is one of the masterpieces of Hitchcock, the master of suspense . Most of the shots of the film were shot in the window of the apartment where the protagonist Jeffrey is located. Hitchcock is directing in the room, and the actors in the apartment opposite are wearing headphones. Waiting for dispatch. This kind of lens is equivalent to the first point of view, as if you are peeping at others through the window. The sense of substitution is very strong . The horror scene at the end of the film lifts our hearts to our throats. The creation of a master-level atmosphere brings us to the extreme. The viewing experience of the movie.

The heroine Grace Kelly is very amazing in the film, and she puts on different clothes every time she plays. The temperament is elegant and charming, which is impressive. Grace Kelly, who was a "Greek Girl", was once the princess of Monaco . She was exquisite and generous in appearance and elegant in demeanor. However, she died in a car accident at the age of 52, which is regrettable.

"Rear Window" is not just a suspenseful film about murder. Its great thing is that it allows us to see through a window the world , about life, about love. I always think Hitchcock has his own understanding of love. I believe that friends who like to watch his movies will find that handsome men and beautiful women often fall in love at first sight in his movies. Although it may feel a little bit bloody, I believe this is his expectation of love. .

There is a very interesting line in the film, "If two people fall in love at first sight, they should bump into each other instead of sitting and analyzing each other. It's like a specimen. People in the past just need to meet and get married if they feel excited. Now what? Reading a lot of books, analyzing each other in complex terms, making intimate gatherings like civil service exams." This passage can poke our hearts now, and sometimes we think, is it now? Love's love is too utilitarian and lacks romance, but it was already like this in 1954. It seems that reality is a permanent problem.

The so-called family has scriptures that are difficult to recite, and everyone in each family has their own troubles every day. The film has shown us very complete. The ballerina on the second floor, in order to develop her career, had to socialize with people she didn't like, and because she had a boyfriend who had not returned as a soldier, she had always maintained her restraint and reason, silently guarding that promise.

The single lady on the first floor has never met her true love. After being bullied, she thought about committing suicide. The newly married couple next door were very sweet and romantic at the beginning of their honeymoon, but after only a week, the two started quarreling over some trivial matters, and they were in a bad relationship.

The salesman on the second floor is the focus of this movie. It is also the only one who has gone to extremes after facing the troubles of life. We have also seen what ended up in the end. Life is like this. There will always be bumps and bumps. What we have to do is to work hard to turn every day into a brand new day , forget the unhappiness of yesterday, and find a solution to the difficulties.

At the end of the film, the single lady and the pianist comforted each other, the lady upstairs raised a new dog, the ballet lady greeted her boyfriend home, and our protagonist Jeffery, I believe that after this time, he should know how to cherish it even more. Significance, with a lover as company, where is not home?

Everyone has hard-to-read scriptures, and everyone will have their own difficulties and troubles. What we have to do is to turn every day into a brand new day and forget the troubles of yesterday, because the difficulties will always find a solution.
