I think it’s more appropriate to translate it as a good brother. This movie makes a deeper description of the selfishness and greed reflected in the so-called loyalty of the world. The contrast between the bright and lively music and the assassination and shooting highlights this point. Martin Scorsese's mastery of the rhythm of the gangster film is still very good, and the expressive technique of the narrative and the discussion makes the film more understandable but full of depth. Jimmy, the biggest party, was the most selfish, and Henry, the most loyal, finally confessed to everyone. In the film, De Niro's selfishness and Lyotard's final testimony are nothing but satirizing the so-called loyalty, and the so-called good brothers are just empty talk.
