Reflective education

When I feel empty, I will go to watch this movie. Every time I see the psychological teacher continuously say: "it's not your fault", tears will come up for unknown reasons. This resonance is always so strong! In addition, it also made me, an ordinary college student, couldn't help thinking about what real education is.
The sentence "The knowledge you learned for tens of thousands of dollars every year in university can be learned in the library by paying a fine of a few cents." It imprinted deeply in my mind. Our current education system is putting a label on me called "Wen Ping", or it is really teaching us how to know ourselves and how to communicate with our souls. Can the mathematical logic we learn in school really make us happy? When we defeat a mathematical problem, can we really overcome our inner fear? There are always questions in my head. When I graduated soon, when I asked what I could do, I didn't know the answer!
What did the university teach us? Or is my university lost by myself?

Good Will Hunting quotes

  • Lambeau: You're angry at me for doing what you could have done; but ask yourself, Sean. Ask yourself if you want Will to feel that way, if you want him to feel like a failure.

Sean: Oh, you arrogant shit! That's why I don't come to the goddamned reunions, 'cause I can't stand that look in your eye. Ya know, that condescending, embarrassed look. You think I'm a failure. I know who I am, and I'm proud of what I do. I was a conscientious choice, I didn't fuck up! And you and your cronies think I'm some sort of pity case. You and your kiss-ass chorus following you around going, "The Fields Medal! The Fields Medal!" Why are you still so fuckin' afraid of failure?

  • Chuckie: [in a bar] I didn't get on Cathy last night.

    Will: No?

    Chuckie: Nah.

    Will: Why not?

    Chuckie: I don't know.

    [yells across room]

    Chuckie: Cathy!

    Cathy: What?

Chuckie: Why didn't you give me none of that nasty little hoochie-woochie you usually throw at me?

Cathy: Oh, fuck you and your Irish curse, Chuckie. Like I'd waste my energy spreading my legs for that Tootsie Roll dick? So go home and give it a tug yourself.
