One said one, I don't like this one.
There are many reasons for this: the most curious post-death world of the audience at the beginning and how to save Jack. The overall direction of the plot is different from that of the previous two films that revolve around maritime legends. This one is almost a political drama about power struggles. The reduction of magical elements is a large part of the reason why this film makes me feel like on pins and needles.
Besides, the frequent deaths of old and new characters make people a little numb. Even the insignificant roles of Father and Good Guy with many roles in the first two movies are reduced to soy sauce soy lunch boxes. It is really hard for me to let go. It took so much time for the two films to make the audience empathize with these two characters, and this kind of treatment makes me feel very wasteful. This newly added role of the king of thieves and naval camps of the oceans seems to be important, but they are all instrumentalists. In the main story, they only provide the background of the stage and have lost the characterization. These characters themselves have no souls, and naturally they do not. It's fun, not to mention that Elizabeth's role as king makes the audience feel no weight, because it lacks the complement to the strength of the nine thieves.
The excellent sense of rhythm in the first two narratives of the series also dissipated in this part. Most of the narratives in this part have jumps or weaknesses. This phenomenon may be caused by too much being jammed in this part. Going around the plot, this episode involves a lot of secret trading and betrayal by the standing team. This previously unprepared and sudden explanation of secret trading makes me feel particularly lazy, giving people a kind of deliberate creation of reaction. The feeling of turning, I will inevitably feel a little disgusted after playing too much.
What disappointed me the most was the lack of freshness of the magical elements. The fighting scenes in this movie also disappointed me (especially when comparing the fairy scenes and creative design in the second movie). The action scenes in this movie are not so It’s dazzling. Although the quality of the decisive part of the climax part of the sea maelstrom is still very high, the two armies are facing each other. I think I will see the pirates coming out. Everyone is going to meet the enemy with all their strength. In the epic naval battle of Shengduo, the result was that the two ships tore each other, and the old routines were used, so it did not meet my expectations.
What I want to complain about most is that the emotional lines of this movie make me inexplicable. The feelings of the male lead to the female lead, the feelings of the female lead to Jack, and the feelings of the female lead to the good guys make me puzzled. I don’t understand why. The male protagonist has no response to the heroine's killing of Jack. I don't understand why the heroine wants to kiss Jack after the hero's sacrifice, why the heroine has become so cold-blooded, and why the heroine doesn't go with the hero. I may not understand that these are the reasons why I still write film reviews here on Valentine's Day.
The villain Jones of this movie also lost the sense of oppression and threat from the previous movie. The movie tried to highlight the threat of the human boss through equivalent substitution (let Jones be used by the human boss), but it failed to do so. Instead, The movie lost the sense of surprise that turned the tide, it only made me feel that they could have won.
In the end, the ending of the movie was pale and weak. The male protagonist quickly came back to life under a very convenient setting. The female protagonist waited for the return of the male protagonist. Jack returned to the initial state of the first film. Everything was back to the starting point but it didn’t make me feel warm. .
