"I feel the pain in the world"
"My birth is a sin (I'm sorry for what I am)"
"People are mortal and there are no exceptions, but, God, sometimes, this green miracle seems so long (we each owe a death, there is no exceptions but, oh Gods, sometimes, the green miles seems so long) "
The Green Mile Miracle was set in the countryside. This film is not so much a crime movie as a pastoral fairy tale. The coming of angels to the world is a mistake in itself, because angels do not exist, so they will not come. What really exists is human nature, the purest kind and the most beautiful soul in a person's heart. The world is evil, but the world is good.
De La Bond, director of "The Redemption of Shawshank", after Shawshank's great success, he took over another Stephen King’s prison novel. The use of various transitions and BGM is very superb. What makes the film outstanding is not only the script and the story, but also the mastery of the rhythm of the film. It will never smoothly transition the plot, and will never use too much force. This may be the maturity of the film.
