"Transformers"

The manga adaptation trend is like a shot in the heart, slamming into the heart of Hollywood. Is this a rescue or a ruin? It is unknown, at least on the box office rankings, and the goal is quite spectacular. Is it a short-term or a long-term behavior? Since the market is Hollywood’s standard for measuring films, it’s not like letting it go, and the trend of adaptation has intensified. How many anime styles have recently appeared on domestic screens, such as "Spider-Man," "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," and "Chariot of Souls", but how many are the memories of Chinese anime fans. Perhaps there has never been an anime character such as "Transformers." That way, a large number of loyal fans have been cultivated in China.

A nostalgic sentiment from childhood, it determines the majority of the box office composition of "Transformers", this part of the audience will enter the theater with a pilgrimage heart regardless of the film. Before entering the theater for the pilgrimage, my heart was actually not religious, because I still had difficulty in having confidence in the film. After learning that Michael Bay has become the master of the film, I don't doubt that he can make the film dazzling, but I also have no doubt that he will make the film dull. In addition to doubts, there is still a fluke, I hope the film will not be too disappointing.

In fact, the film finally made me fall into a trapped situation. The storyline of the film is completely different from anime, which makes all anime fans feel strange. The more scattered and multi-clue storyline makes it impossible to concentrate and even more people. The disappointment is that humans have become the protagonists of the film to a greater extent, while those Autobots or Decepticons have become cool green leaves, completely losing their flesh and blood character. Transformers without character are no different from ordinary robots. There are no likable features, and human characters are more of a joke added to the Transformers fight, jokes are inevitably quite old-fashioned .

Mike Erbei is undoubtedly an excellent craftsman, he is always keen to invest money on the dazzling surface, his success and failure are almost equal. Some people like his hot action scenes very much, but some people hate him for putting technology above the core. Like his failure in "Pearl Harbor", his works face the same problems. You can't expect a huge movie. The investment film does not have a soul. He directed "Transformers" also has no soul, but the box office success of this film does not come from Michael Bay, even if the director is changed, as long as it is not too bad, the audience will still pay for the film.

Transformers quotes

  • ACWO Jorge "Fig" Figueroa: My mother, she had the gift. You know, she saw things. Now I got the gene. That thing at the base, I got a feeling it ain't over.

First Sergeant Donnelly: Why don't you those magic voodoo powers of yours and get us the hell out of here, huh?

  • Sam Witwicky: [looking up at Bumblebee] Can you talk?

Bumblebee: [through his radio] "XM Satellite One"..."Digital Cable brings you"..."Columbia Broadcasting System"...

Sam Witwicky: So, you... so you talk through the radio?

Bumblebee: [clapping his hands] "Thank you, you're beautiful! You're wonderful, you're wonderful."

Sam Witwicky: So what was that last night? What was that?

Bumblebee: [pointing skywards] "Message from Starfleet, Captain"..."Throughout the inanimate vastness of space"..."And angels will rain down like visitors from Heaven! Hallelujah!"

Mikaela: Visitors from heaven... so you're, like, an alien?

[Bumblebee points a finger at her and nods, and converts into a Camaro]

Bumblebee: "Any more questions you want to ask?"

Sam Witwicky: He wants us to get in the car.

Mikaela: [laughing nervously] And go where?

Sam Witwicky: Fifty years from now, when you're looking back at your life, don't you want to be able to say you had the guts to get in the car?
