What if Raymond didn't make 80,000 yuan for Charlie?

The doctor said politely for Ray, but what happened to the 3 million in the end? Ray couldn't use it, so he gave it to the doctor?

Why should Charlie's girlfriend be so kind to Ray suddenly? Sympathy? Why kiss? Charlie doesn't mind either?

These details distracted my attention from the brotherhood, so in the end I was still wondering, the movie ended suddenly.

The age gap between Raymond and Charlie reminded me of another film "Scent of a Woman". There are many similarities between the two films. But compared to Dustin Huffman, the autistic memory superman, I prefer Al Pacino, the somewhat crazy blind man:)
