Locke's Death

After going to college, I fell in love with American dramas. Among them, "Lost" is the one I caught the most. There is a little bit of science fiction, a little bit of mystery, and one suspense one after another, enough to spur your appetite. Every character in it is so ordinary, but there is an unusual past. Among them, the one that impressed me the most was the vicissitudes of John Locke.

He seems to be a salesperson selling toys in a shopping mall. He used to live quietly until a woman broke into his life one day. Later, he learned that she was the mother he had never met. Her mother didn't tell him who his father was, but it aroused Locke's desire for family affection that he had never felt before. His mother was gone, but he tried to find his father, an old man with a wealth of life, with his own villa, and the gate was guarded by security guards. Locke must feel extremely happy at this moment, after all, everyone needs his father's love. He chatted with his father happily, went out hunting in the wild, everything was so kind and natural. Later, when he learned that his father's faulty kidney had endangered his life, he felt that he should do something for his father. Finally, he gave his kidney. When he woke up from sleep with beautiful longing, he found that his father had left him alone in the hospital. It turned out that all this was just a trap, and his father took advantage of him. His dreams were wiped out in an instant, he was surprised, he was furious, he was sad, but there was nothing he could do. When he went to find his father again, he was turned away by the security guard. He seemed desperate, but still did not give up. He often sits alone in the car outside the door of his father's villa, hoping that one day his father can come out of that door and give him all the love his father owes him. The door is always closed.

Another woman entered his life, this time with love. He felt the warmth of love, but could not tolerate the lack of family affection. At night, he came to his father's door again, as if to feel the slightest blood relationship. His girlfriend followed, telling him that he must forget the past and don't indulge in the so-called good memories of the past. He can only choose one of the past and the future. If he chooses the past, then he and she have no future. In the end, Locke chose the future, and the key to the door was thrown into the door. Everything seems to be over. However, the news of his father's death caused waves again, and he decided to face his father for the last time and went to the tomb burial ceremony. Later, he learned that his father was not dead, and everything was a scam. Father found him again and asked him to take a large amount of ill-gotten wealth, and he could get a part of it himself. Locke agreed, and the money was enough to allow him and his girlfriend to live a prosperous life. When they met in a hotel room near the airport, his girlfriend appeared at the door, and when she saw all this, she left angrily. Locke caught up with her by the car, knelt on one leg, took out the ring, and proposed to her, saying that it was all for their future. His girlfriend's eyes were full of tears and did not speak, but from her expression, they had no future. When his girlfriend drove away, his father glanced at him indifferently and drove away. He was left alone in the parking lot sad...
