A section of the spine that was taken away

What is a good comedy? Good comedy is not just exaggerated body and elegant jokes, good comedy must be based on accurate insights into life and society. In other words, there is no good comedy, or even all good art, without an understanding of "true."

Therefore, a good comedian must seriously understand the daily "truth", and then refine, polish, disassemble, and reconstruct it. The clown named Arthur Fleck, who seeks to become a top comedian, must think so too.

However, he unfortunately faces a world that is so absurd that it is not real. He was forced to fall into the boundless ugliness in an attempt to pursue beauty with truth.

It is not uncommon to show the absurdity of reality and the rareness of "truth" in literary works. But "Joker" is different from its former greatness in two points-its judgment of "true" does not come from outside construction, and it is so thorough when the outside world takes away its dependent pillars.

When a person is taught truth, goodness and beauty since he was a child, but he grows up to find fake and ugly, he has to face the world directly. This is the most common distinction between true and false. But the clown has a history of mental illness, and education at home and school is basically absent. He got out on his own. His cognition of "truth" is extremely pure, with a kind of piety almost literally. You told me that this gun was borrowed from me for self-defense, and I never thought you would be framed behind your back; I told you that the billboard was robbed, and I don’t know why you questioned it; if you said he was the biological father, I went to him, and he said you would come in. After passing the hospital, I went to look through the information. I didn't map anything, I just wanted to know what was going on.

The clown is not a naturally pathological antisocial personality, he also knows the basic survival etiquette. But he didn't understand, how could it be fake if it was obviously true, and so many people believed that it was true. His uncontrollable burst of laughter is the most true reflection, but if everyone can't avoid it, it's okay to say that he actually thought he was teasing again and again. He is the person involved, telling everyone that the three bastards are assholes, but he just wants to believe the words of a big man who admits that he has never seen them, thinking that they shouldn't have died. All these are extremely impacting the world of clowns.

But why are we ordinary people, and why are we not forced to face the illusions of life. But the reason why we are able to stand firm is because there is always a safe haven in the wind and rain, relatives, lovers, friends, these support our belief in continuing to fight every day.

But the Joker’s faith was taken away, so thoroughly that his transformation was not surprising at all. If the same person was taken away by a section of his spine, then he could only be reduced to an earth-bound evil spirit in the end.

The biggest pillar of the clown is nothing more than maternal love, but it doesn't matter whether he is an illegitimate child or an adopted child. Life is not as good as nourishment. He has always cared about his mother's companionship and acquaintance. It wasn't until he discovered that the mother was the pathogen and the culprit in disguise. His brain damage, malnutrition and jagged body, even mental division, fantasy and even narcissism, all originated from this person who depended on him day and night. He resolutely chose a decision, unable to tell whether it was revenge or liberation, but he did accept the reality of being taken away from his spine. The discovery of the truth about the mother is the most important straw.

When I saw my mother ended up, I immediately realized that the girlfriend who was going to kill him soon was the best way to deal with it as a fantasy. Sure enough, because the clown still has some attachment and dependence, he can't be a clown, he can only be Arthur. When family and love were taken away, his closest and most reliable relationship was the only dwarf former colleague who had never laughed at him but had little intersection. The clown's spiritual world is deserted, and this will create its spiritual power to stir the world.

Pureness brings the ultimate, absolute simplicity brings the absolute ultimate. The clown has only a basic view of authenticity, he can't tell the size, just like a clumsy person who doesn't know how to strike up a conversation. The clown kills many times. The three at the beginning commit crimes with passion, and the mother is stubborn, and the host Murray is intertwined with admiration and hatred. Although Landau made a trick to lose his job, but in all fairness, the clown didn't care. After cruelty, he sincerely blessed and let go of the dwarf, and never worried that he would call the police. This kind of purity made him unintentionally arrogant. He was right. He didn't care about politics at all, and he didn't care about politics. Many people might just use him to make use of it, and even Thomas Wayne pushed "clown" as a political concept. But the clown’s ultimate pursuit of "reality" ignited a holy flame in the eyes of supporters, making him an out-and-out and irreplaceable spiritual symbol. When they took the clown out of the police car and placed it on the hood, it was a completely buried scene of Christ. It's just that the one who was resurrected and danced to everyone's cheers was an antichrist.

When the clown looked out to the street from the police car, he was seriously full of excitement and hope. But he doesn't care about these atrocities, what he cares about is that people show their truest side. It's just that this is the beastly truth, and it's also the ugly truth. The clown ignored these, he was only happy to finally feel a refreshing breath. He never intended to launch a struggle, it was Gotham City that nurtured and accomplished him. When the mechanisms of all civilizations fail, the pursuit of truth, goodness and beauty becomes inevitable, and greater falsehoods and evils often follow.

This is the story of "Joker" and the story of the entire history of human civilization.

Detective Garrity: So we spoke with your boss, over at Ha-Ha's. He said you were fired for bringing a gun into the children's hospital. Is that true, Mr. Fleck?

Arthur Fleck: It's a prop. It's part of my act. I'm a party clown.

Detective Burke: All right, so why were you fired?

Arthur Fleck: They said I wasn't funny enough. Can you imagine that? Now if you don't mind, I have to go take care of my mother.

Detective Burke: Your boss also gave us one of your cards. This condition of yours, The laughing, is it real, or some sort of clown thing?

    Arthur Fleck: A clown thing?

Detective Garrity: Yeah. I mean, part of your act?

Arthur Fleck: What do you think?

[Arthur turns and starts walking towards the hospital doors, but walks into the glass door]

    Detective Garrity: It's exit only.
