Why is it a horror

Maybe it would be okay to name the movie directly and make it as Horror, but it feels a bit biased to translate psycho into Horror. Maybe multiple personalities can also be understood as multiple souls? It doesn't seem to be the case, because if it is shocked, it is more shocking to the soul of others. The original title of psycho should still be used to describe the male protagonist. The words of Terror can be applied to most suspense or horror films. However, the advantage of translating it into "Ji Hun Ji" is that if you don't know the English name or the meaning of psycho, it is more difficult to guess the ending, while the name "psycho" or "psychiatric patient" is somewhat spoiled.

The plot setting and shooting are quite clever. In fact, at first I thought it was a film about female thief, but it turned out to be just an introduction. I originally thought that this film would involve a lot of human thinking. After watching it, I didn’t feel that it was more about mental illness or multiple personality. It's a good film. I can’t tell you what’s good, but it’s more comfortable to watch.

In addition, it feels good to watch during the day, but it may still be scary to watch at night. ,

Also, why did the private detective get off from the other side of the driver's seat when returning to the motel for the second time? Is it related to American culture?

[Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival Screening] The first brush stayed on the IMAX giant screen. Although the suspense is not new today, it is still nervous throughout, and it is indeed the greatest thriller! I was deeply impressed by the heavy rain of the car windows, the panic in the bathroom, the murder of the stairs, the turning of the skeleton, and the overprinting of the three paintings at the end. Was scared several times. The photography is almost perfect! It is indeed a horror pinnacle that transcends the times!

Psycho quotes

  • Tom Cassidy: I'm buying this house for my baby's wedding present. Forty thousand dollars, cash! Now, that's... not buying happiness. That's just... buying off unhappiness.

[waves money in front of Marion]

Tom Cassidy: I never carry more than I can afford to lose! Count 'em.

    Caroline: I declare!

Tom Cassidy: [staring at Marion] I don't! That's how I get to keep it!

George Lowery: Tom, uh... cash transactions of this size! Most irregular.

  • Marion Crane: Do you go out with friends?

Norman Bates: Well, a boy's best friend is his mother.
