Excellent music reproduces the legend of a band. Although "Bohemian Rhapsody" is a biopic on the plot, the most amazing thing about this movie is that it reproduces the former queen band. At the concert, people felt the magic of this rock band and touched the era of rock frenzy.
Like many inspirational movies, "Bohemian Rhapsody" also outlines the main story of the movie with the Queen’s formation, style establishment, and how to fame. As the lead singer of the Queen, Freddie ·Mokury, the movie naturally focuses on him, from his ups and downs in the formation of a band to his relationship with his relatives, and then to the transformation of his mind as a homosexual, the film is not lacking from multiple perspectives. Dramatic tension, but there are problems in how to present this process.
The 135-minute movie is not short, but it is not enough to narrate the legend of a rock singer like a few treasures. Faced with the material that must be selected, as director Brian Singer, his overall control of the movie is actually not Ineffective, whether it is Freddie’s experience or his emotions, the movie just shows it like a running account, which directly leads to the fragmentation of nearly all important nodes of the movie. The film’s narrative makes it impossible for the film to truly organize emotions to entice empathy, let alone how to get into the inner world of this protagonist Freddie.
In the embarrassing situation of the protagonist Freddy’s mediocre character, another problem with "Bohemian Rhapsody" is that the supporting role is paler. Throughout the whole movie, except for Freddy, there is no role to leave. What an impression, other band members and Freddy’s surrounding characters have only become the "boosters" of the movie, in addition to promoting the development of the plot, people can not see any value due to their roles, which not only makes " "Bohemian Rhapsody" has become "The Biography of Freddie", which also makes the film's foreshadowing stage as stagnant as a stagnant water.
Fortunately, "Bohemian Rhapsody" also has music, and a perfect restoration of that imposing concert in the history of rock and roll. The whole movie finally ushered in its own highlight moment in the last twenty minutes, when Freddy Standing in a stadium with 70,000 people performing rock and roll concerts, what the movie brings is a shock like an immersive concert, and accompanied by that deafening and full of passionate rock music, then Freddie Mercury Really resurrected in light and shadow, what the movie brings to people at this moment is a surge of heart.
"Bohemian Rhapsody" is a turbulent and exciting Rhapsody. It may be hard to be regarded as an excellent biographical film, but it belongs to Freddie Mercury and belongs to the Queen so far. The best tribute.
