I finished watching the movie "A Movie About Sugar" a few days ago,
The impact is more profound: the creator began to take 40 spoons of sugar a day for 60 days, which is a challenge of 160 grams. The source of these sugars is not junk food, but what everyone thinks is normal.
Nutritious food, such as yogurt, oatmeal, etc. However, the author still gained weight. In the end, the fat in the liver increases and the risk of disease rises.
There are a few things I learned from this film:
1. Regarding calories, is it time to update the calculation method of calories? We have used existing measurement methods for forty to fifty years. When we consume the same calories of avocado or nuts and the same calories of cereals or beverages, our body changes are different. This is clearly witnessed by the video. So, shouldn’t calories just be the number of calories, but also the source of calories? Does the source have a greater impact on people?
2. Long-term consumption of sugar will make people form a pattern in the brain. When you see pictures or objects of sweets, a kind of dopamine will be secreted in the brain, which makes people excited, and urges our limbs to act quickly and eat sweets. The brain then secretes phenolphthalein or internal opium, which makes people happy, but this time only lasts for a while, and then our mood drops very low, so this is the mechanism by which sugar causes our emotional instability.
3. The happiness and excitement that sugar brings to people is not really happiness, it is just a temporary phenomenon, don't be confused, but this also proves that when you are in a bad mood, eating sweets will really make you feel better. a little.
4. Humans consume mainly glucose, which supplies us with energy. Lactose is one of the main sources of energy for the growth and development of babies. It mainly exists in milk, such as mother's milk. People who are lactose intolerant may cause diarrhea if they drink milk. Wait. There is also the sucrose that most people consume now. 50% of it is glucose, which can be quickly converted into energy, and the other 50% is fructose, which accumulates quickly in the human body, and finally is fat that cannot be converted.
The creator is Australian. This film reminds me of the changes when I first went to Australia two months ago.
I found that I have become fatter, fatter is obvious, the flesh on my waist is more, my face is round, and I am not moving. The point is that I often get acne, and I am more and more fond of snacks. A big bucket of ice cream every week. Ling, the chocolate is always in the bag. I think of it. I think this is because of the changes in the environment and the eating habits of the people I live with. Their refrigerators are filled with quick-frozen objects, which are really stuffed. It became more and more normal to be full of sweets, I also started to eat potato chips, and started to eat barbecue and drink very late. I didn't even realize that I had gained so much weight, from 50KG, more than two months, to 57KG.
On the other hand, my food at home is greatly influenced by my parents. They are very traditional Chinese customs. They have three meals and don’t want to eat anything else. When I was a child, my brother and I basically didn’t eat food from the canteen or spicy noodles (no Childhood...) I don’t drink Coke, I don’t see snacks at home, and the refrigerator is empty. I am very used to this kind of life. Our staple food is rice, and occasionally noodles. The main protein and nutrients come from chicken, duck, fish, etc., and we try to buy fresh ones. I bought them today and finished eating them today. We have basically two meat dishes per ton, both of which are very large and the oil is a bit heavy, but our weight has not increased sharply. The refrigerator basically does not have any snacks or secondary processed foods. The main source of sugar is fruits, such as apples, bananas or vegetables.
Note: Fruits are high in sugar, so try to eat less at night, or eat less sugar.
Personal advice: Don’t be too deliberate about sugar control, just change some basic eating habits, such as not eating bread and cakes (take this as a reward, only eat when you are particularly happy or sad)
, Do not drink processed yogurt or Yakult (it is all sugar), do not drink milk tea and other beverages, do not buy chocolate, try to drink boiled water or fruit.
It sounds as simple as that. When my refrigerator and kitchen don't have these things, I naturally can't touch them.
