Mercy (The Mercy), this is not an exciting film. Aiming at this inspirational film review, which is not an inspirational film, I decided to find this alien nautical film to taste it.
The protagonist lied, but before he was thrown into the sea, all his true journals were kept, and they were generously placed on the sailing table. He could have been thrown into the sea, but the liar finally chose to confess his truth. The fake is the record of the game. But the log of the voyage is not only recorded, but also kept. It is this true record that makes the protagonist immortal. In the log, he didn't even keep the wishful thinking and wrote that no one would want to read the last log book. No one would notice what a perfect deception. It can only be said that the protagonist is a third-rate sailor, and the storytelling is full of flaws, but at the most he pleaded guilty and confessed the crime of concealment. I am curious why he did not confess the crime of deception. Perhaps in his eyes, he left the truth behind. Records can be made public after death. Although shameful, at least the crime of lying can be washed away. After all, the protagonist is still a very self-disciplined person. Perhaps this is why a loser can still be a household name in the UK. For many years, there have been countless books, movies, and stage plays that explore the inner world of the protagonist!
People are great because of loneliness. People can only think when they are alone. Dufan is probably the ultimate in loneliness. For seven months alone at sea, this is the true story. Sailing is just an embellishment.
