In the beginning, the lumberjack was attacked and killed by an unknown creature. The horses and animals in the town suffered accidents. The sheriff went from suspecting man-made pranks at the beginning to later having to believe that ancient unknown animals appeared.
The atmosphere at the beginning was pretty good. There were many cases happening in a row, the male protagonist's eyes were full of stories, the plot in the middle was very procrastinated, and the dialogue was not bright. The contradiction between the protagonist himself and his wife is also spread through the development of the plot, which is a bit like the plot in "Doomsday Collapse". The racer’s daughter is so beautiful that I resisted the desire to fast forward.
At the end, the police officer killed the monster, and then led everyone back to the church hall, which seemed not very cautious. Sure enough, the end came on, and the horror escalated.
