To be honest, I don’t dare to touch horror films at all, but because I heard that it is a pseudo documentary with a very novel technique, it has horror parts, but it is not a horror film, so I got the courage to enter the theater. . Except for the male protagonist Josh who looks very much like a classmate of my high school, the process of using tape to record "ufo" in the movie reminded me of a popular American drama before-13 reasons why. In the same way, relatives and friends use tape as clues to find clues about the death of the deceased.
Going back to this movie, I really admire the courage of the three children, especially Josh. At the most critical moment, he can still shoot with a camera, which is not something ordinary people can do. But the movie itself has a lot of logical loopholes. For example, the vocals in the male lead video are very clear. It is impossible to receive such a perfect sound without a microphone; secondly, the chaos at the end of the movie makes everything Both exploded and shattered, and the camera in the hands of the male protagonist could not be kept intact and was eventually found by the male protagonist’s sister. But it is understandable that if the film is not written in this way, it is meaningless.
In the end, I think this movie is worth watching, not as boring as many people think. In the whole movie, my friend unexpectedly didn't fall asleep, which really shows that the ups and downs of the plot are well controlled.
