Directed by white people. It's a pity that mainland Chinese audiences don't have this kind of awareness, only Chinese people in foreign countries can see it. This movie caused anger and repercussions in the Chinese society in the United States and Canada. Sadly, people who were born and raised in mainland China had no feeling at all. The following are the comments of 2 Chinese American audiences:
1) This film was about a white American guy named Mckee (something like that) getting an Asian girl in the end. Along the way he "Bruce Lee" portrayed as an immature loser who can't get laid and a sexless Asian monk who flies around and stuff. White American guy Mckee gets help from the whining loser named "Bruce Lee" to rescue his Asian GF by getting "Bruce Lee" to fight the bad Asian gangsters so that he can get get the girl and get laid. What a racist piece of trash Hollywood film, I'm glad I saw this without paying for it.
This Anti-Asian director needs to get tied up, stripped naked and hung from a tree. Then beaten to death with baseball bats, I would rather pay to take part in that heh.

2) This entire film is a carefully hidden propaganda piece that portrays Lee as some unsexual, angry, kung fu loser who accomplishes nothing. Meanwhile, a white guy actually stars as the main character of the movie, gets the (Asian) girl, and wins the day. What? What just happened? A film about Bruce Lee that ISN'T actually about Bruce? This propaganda piece focuses on stereotyping, dehumanizing, and denigrating Asians and Asian culture. Of course, that's no surprise. If you google ' kulturemedia', you'll find a bunch more examples where western media wages war against Asians in this century.
Highly recommend people to avoid this film, and watch'The slanted screen' instead.
