Personally, I think it’s very good, because I found that there are many religious factors in the film, such as snakes, the Bible, and so on. What happened in the house that was flashing blue light? Does it represent hell? If you use agnosticism to watch this movie, everything seems less ordinary. Cage is fat, but he still has some acting skills. The part of driving while drinking is very good, but when he peeks, he is not very awkward. This may be a failure. Besides, who did the pig in that pond? Is it the policeman or the bastard whom Cage has always suspected, or the commissary owner who has been monitoring him on the opposite side! Everyone in the town looks so strange, do these anomalies show anything? Who the hell is that short-haired woman? Why kill that blonde woman? Is it possible that all of this is a ritual? The police may be just one link. Hemingway said that only the tip of the iceberg is exposed, and seeing this tip makes the entire iceberg seem huge, so I think this is an interesting movie.
