I haven’t read this novel that was defined as “defeating morals and blaspheming religion” at the time, and I don’t understand film and television shooting techniques. The following film reviews are all from the film and have nothing to do with the novel. Just talk about the experience of watching movies.
First of all, I really like the colors in the movies. The architectural styles, furnishings, and religious systems of medieval Europe are not the life I long for, but they always attract me to look more, just like the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing in China, and Europe in that era. It is also full of mystery.
The beginning of the movie tells the end of the story. The heroine Emma stumbles in the forest with poison in her hand, and finally falls on the ground covered with yellow leaves. I can imagine her despair in life. Many people think Emma is on her own. It is the love of vanity, the licentiousness, and the greed. The loan in order to live a luxurious life eventually drags down the husband and makes life overwhelmed.
There is a scene I remember very clearly. Before marrying her husband, the country doctor, she repeated "Please let's he is the right one" in the church. Maybe from here, she started to lay the groundwork for her and the village. Unlike other people, she is not reconciled to the ordinary and enjoys luxury. Friends will appreciate her beauty and extraordinary vision. For such a woman, after her husband goes out to work, she can only use piano practice and embroidery to pass the time at home. Loneliness, she said more than once that she wanted to go to Paris and Dorne, and she yearned for a colorful life there. I don’t think Emma was so wrong, nor how right she did it. The fault was in marriage. Eating habits, attitudes to life, and even play can’t be integrated together. Emma’s marriage is not love. In today’s phrase, “how to be friends with three different perspectives”, Emma follows Markus on a hunt. His husband is chatting and drinking tea with others. They have different preferences. However, if it weren’t for Emma, he wouldn’t come here to hunt. For Emma, he would not accompany her to watch a performance in Dorn, he should be the one who loves her the most.
The first time, when she met Lyon, who had been to Paris to work as a lawyer in Dorne, she was moved. The story of Lyon made her novel and yearning. The second time, when she met Markus who was hunting, she was moved again, Markus. The desire and indulgence of Emma suddenly caught Emma’s pain points, cheating with them made her find the pleasure of life, and at the same time, they also pinned her desire to escape from the real life, but this sentence was said. These two people have both stayed away from her. After all, they didn't love her enough, because she was always a married woman, and they didn't want to destroy the existing life for her.
Emma is not a noble family, but she has a heart that is unwilling to be mediocre. What she pursues is grace and luxury; the country doctor, an honest man, practice medicine diligently, and pursues stability.
In the end, the harm has harmed people, which is very sad.
