Ozu Yasujiro's essay-style works are about the polite greetings of adults, such as "Good morning" and "The weather is so nice", while hiding what they really want to say, creating barriers and misunderstandings. Through the child’s perspective, the parent does not say anything because the parents did not buy a TV. They use pumice-eating and farting as the skill and fun to show off each other. It uses a contrasting method to visualize the disadvantages of adult’s complicated words and uncomfortable words. Show up. Ozu's unique low camera lens and close-to-life description make children's performance more friendly and evoke many similar memories of childhood.
