The hell in the animation is full of gloom, and the dark tones throughout the article feel a bit sin city, but it gives more room for imagination than the pure animation of real people. There are many symbols in the film without the rich European history and ancient Greek and Roman myths and legends. From being lost in the forest, Dante went home and found that his home was slaughtered. His beloved was taken to hell and chased out to start a journey to hell to save his lover. From the first floor to the last big boss on the 9th floor, although Dante was fighting monsters, it was mainly the process of purging his soul. The crimes on the Crusade Road corresponded to hell one by one, and even the murder of his lover was also when Dante himself was at the time. The evil consequences of Jerusalem against the pagans. Finally, in order not to let the demons of hell endanger the order of the world and heaven, Dante threw himself into purgatory.

Generally speaking, the whole film is a fast-paced dark version of the self-rescue story. It should be more enjoyable to add more background knowledge.
