The first time I watched this movie was played by the teacher during a psychology class. The intention was obvious, and the effect she wanted was achieved. At least I was touched by this movie.
Adapting from a real story makes the whole movie more real, but there must be exaggerations, such as the actor's beautiful girlfriend (? I guess).
The protagonist suffers from congenital Tourette's disease, which causes him to twist his neck uncontrollably and make strange noises. And this kind of weird behavior has made him never understood by the people around him since he was a child. His father always thought he was making trouble, and the relationship between his father and his son has not been very good. But his mother has been by his side, encouraging him not to give up treating the child. The mother is of great help to the hero's subsequent realization of his dreams and growth.
Neither you nor I can imagine how difficult it would be for a person who cannot speak normally and always makes strange noises to be a teacher. If a person does not have firm beliefs, the spirit of not giving up, and working hard to overcome difficulties, it is possible to realize his dream.
"Father never understands my optimism."
"If I give up, I give in to those who misunderstand me."
"As always, my friend reminded me not to hope too much, but this is difficult to do."
"I won't give up on you, and I won't let you give up on yourself."
When you want to give up, watch this movie and continue on the road of struggle.
