After the nuclear war, the world fell into a doomsday situation and was devastated. Former Marine Gabriel Drummer, together with his comrade-in-arms David Roberts (Davin Roberts), worked hard to find his son, and survived the harsh environment of the last days full of danger and sacrifice . At the same time, Gabriel is also struggling with his own memories: the terrible memories he experienced in Afghanistan; his beloved wife Natalie and their marriage on the verge of disintegration; and the psychiatrist Pei in the army. Captain Peyton talked intermittently. Surrounded by these memories, anger and regret drove Gabriel to use all the means he knew to retrieve everything he had lost.
