It's not easy to make a good movie. Movies need diversified expressions.

This is a film with a very clear theme and a clear perspective from the director. So this movie is destined to be a bad one. In fact, I personally think that this movie seems to be of the same type as Quentin, the Coen brothers, and Gary, but in fact it is completely different. The films of these latter people simply tell a story, and the film serves the story itself. They will tell the story very well and wonderfully. And this dog biting dog is a theme movie.
One of the topics: gun control problem. From the beginning of the film, the theme of the whole film is explained. On the TV, there may be two people with disagreements arguing about the proliferation of guns. One of them is constantly questioning the issue of guns, and the power of guns is constantly escalating, which is a terrible thing. Another person with glasses said that people are safer with guns, and civilians can protect their families if they have guns. Although the police have powerful guns, do you think they are equipped with guns to rush into your house and kill you? This sentence was repeated several times over and over again, laying the groundwork for the narrative that follows.
Then the plot of the story is that the mad dog killed his lover and lover's child. The design of this plot may be an explanation to the person on the TV saying that everyone has a gun to be safe. Violence and crime are not just as simple as robbery, and not just whether there should be so many guns.
At the end of the film, Nicholas Cage kidnapped an elderly couple. He used common sense to know that there must be a gun in any car. It means that having guns becomes unsafe. (Nicholas Cage had just been dragged half to death by the police car, in fact, he didn't have a gun, but it was so easy to get a gun) This echoes the TV show at the beginning of the film that only everyone with a gun can be safe.
The fat man was shopping in the supermarket. The clerk saw the other gun behind his waist and immediately told the police to investigate him. This plot also confirmed that the gun is not safe, but it is something that everyone is in danger of. The fat man seemed to think that another gun was safe, but he died because of this.
Speaking of the police, or from the TV show, does that person say that the police have such powerful guns to kill people? The end of the film told me the answer. As long as the police confirm that it is a criminal, no matter who is in the car (good, bad, or innocent), they will shoot randomly because they can shoot according to the situation.
In summary, the director of this theme wants to express violence, crime and other social issues, in fact, the relationship between guns is not a complete causal relationship, but a human nature issue.
Theme Two: The current situation in society of persons released after serving their sentences. In fact, this is the same in all countries and regions. What can you do if you are released after serving your sentence? Then kill and set fire. So the whole story goes from the process they continue to commit the crime until they die. Among them, they also had a meeting to entangle whether to kill or not, kidnapping children seemed improper, but in fact it was destined to not be a problem, because they were criminals. .
Another aspect is the tolerance of society towards criminals. The policewoman mentioned some absurd reasons during the inspection (theft of the supermarket), and was dragged by two police officers in a car as if venting their anger. In Cage's view, although he is a released prisoner, he is still discriminated against everywhere, so he believes that he can never be a normal person. In the end, Cage’s scene was actually what the director wanted to say to the audience. Cage said: I just want fairness to see if there is fairness in this society. The police still shot and killed the innocent old man in the car. This is stark prejudice. Some people say that the ending of the story is bad, and if the story can't be edited, it ends hurriedly. In fact, the ending is the point of view that the director wants to express, not what an amazing story is told to cater to the audience.
Then it is specific to the settings of the three protagonists.
Mad Dog: The setting of Mad Dog is a summary through the conversation between Fatty and him in the car. Fatty asked him to change it, but he didn't listen at all and continued to talk about himself all the way. A mad dog is a real person. He always feels that he is heartbroken to others, but he always feels that the people around him don't understand him and force him to death. Many of the passages have portrayed his personality characteristics: What's the big deal about watching pornographic films, must he be driven out? Why can't the person who gave him a plane service be involved and want to play with his mobile phone during the service? The reason why the fat man is what he is is because he talks endlessly about his truth, which is unbearable and there is no room for chatting at all. There may be friends like crazy dogs around us, anyway, I will stay away, no matter how nice he is. It's just that the movie is a bit extreme, and the fat man killed him.
Fatty: irritable and sensitive. Sister-in-law can scare the girl away, and she is convinced. A man with no emotional intelligence.
Cage: Maybe this character is more like someone in our reality, contradictory, struggling, and unable to define good or bad. He can always have brotherhood and always bring brothers, and the money is evenly divided. Although they are marginalized people in the entire society and criminals that everyone spurns, they are very simple and happy in their own world.
After they succeeded in the film, the scene of the three people carnival is actually the same as normal people. There are normal people's demands, but they are sad. They want to be understood and rejected by the indifference of this society. The corresponding scenario is: Cage tells the chicken whether he wants to go to France with him, and the chicken just wants to make an extra 300, and doesn't care what he says to him. The fat guy wants to find someone to chat, talk about a girl, and then turn others Scared away. The mad dog wanted to throw himself into a plane, but the technician played with a mobile phone.

Finally, let’s summarize: all the scenes in this movie serve the director’s views. People who like strong plot movies must think this is a bad movie. Because we watch the film either this film has some kind of emotional connection with our real experience, and there is a strong sense of substitution. Either the story is well structured, allowing you to follow the plot all the time. Either it is curiosity or horror. It's a pity that none of the above characteristics are available, so this film is a bad one. But I want to say that there are too many films that cater to the tastes of the audience. There are fewer films with an attitude and seriousness. This film can actually be viewed by people who can understand the content. Anyway, I don't like it!

  • Troy: Fuck!

  • El Greco: Good to see ya again. Here, count it. It's $5,000 dollars. You can pay me back later. You don't even have to thank me. Just don't go wastin' it on those other fools. The gig? Uh, it's a friend of mine. Armenian dude. Former friend, actually. Uh, used to be a deputy D.A. prosecuting drug cases. So he got sick of watching himself go poor while his clients went rich, so he switched sides. Buys himself a big ol' house in Brantlow, got a little puss on the side. He's a squirrely girl, but now he has a problem. He needs some money the wife don't know about. So, get this, he's setting up his former clients for rip-offs. You'd like him, he's your kind of guy, Troy. That'd be a monkey out of east Cleveland, calls himself Moon Man. They used to call him Balloon Head til he got so much money that now they just call him Guard. He likes to play the fool. He says to my friend, the Armenian, he says, "Hey Mr. Cracker." He talks like that, says, "Hey Mr. Cracker, if you're so smart and I'm so dumb, why I got $5,000,000 and you workin' for me?" He buys himself a house up in Rocky River. Big ol' gaudy thing, and it needs renovatin'. You know that part of Cleveland? He's got a 300-pound fool he calls a bouncer. Uh, he likes to drive a bimmer 7, but not in the hood. So he's got 4, 5 little junker cars. You know, switch 'em one place, one or the other, you know how they do that. But, this is where you come in, he don't keep anything worth shit up at the Rocky River house, so you gotta find where he keeps his stash. So you've got Diesel... No, no. Not Mad Dog. Ha ha ha. No, no, really? Shit. Like the old fudge puncher said, a man kills for the thing he loves. You keep him away from me. Those paranoid types make me scared.
