Originally, I didn't have much hope for American popcorn flick, just to pass the time. However, I really like the tone of this movie, quiet, a little depressing, and a little nostalgic.
I especially like some retro musical instruments in the movie, phonograph, organ, and James' CD player. They are all very comfortable!
Although the plot is not particularly novel, at least this kind of plot that awakens relatives is even old-fashioned, but in the whole process, Franny's regret and helplessness are intertwined, without too many expression fluctuations, but he walked along with his younger brother. Road to go.
I began to understand my younger brother's life slowly, because of the meaning of the younger brother, the fluctuations in peace, there will still be a little excitement after reading it.
At the end of the film, the plot of the separation of the two people is a bit literary, forgive me for not understanding.
But this may be a good ending. It can be understood that James left the city for his musical inspiration, and Franny stayed in the city for his family love. Maybe one day they will get together again~ (I guess~)
