Putting aside the historical story, just talking about the film itself, watching this film is not an easy task. The theme of the film seems to be very specific. In fact, the plot development process is a bit sloppy. Many parts are discussed separately. Compared with these, the special effects and some designs of the film are not my favorite. The naval combat special effects are too unreal and messy. And as soon as the global screen is reached, it is obviously replaced by various computer special effects. Second, for male protagonists, slow motions or deliberate close-ups are often used to reflect their importance, such as a walking shot of turning around. Unfortunately, Charles Dans cannot take on this important task. In close-up shots, complex feelings are not seen, and often It was a confusing performance, all of which caused all the deliberate design to become a burden to the film.
