Expect a lot, but not as good as expected. If Brad was robbed and didn't fight back at the beginning, it would be more understandable to join the Brotherhood later, but later it became more and more incomprehensible. His brother saw him being abused, so why not stop it? In the end, he himself was unwilling to withdraw from the Brotherhood, and at the end he had not yet identified the murderer.
Brad is a cowardly man. After being robbed, he suffered from PTSD syndrome. In order to recover from his mental illness, his brother took him to a party and took him into the fraternity. If all of the previous ones can be understood, then I really can't understand the last one. Because Brett has experienced fraternity's abuse, and after Brad joined, he watched him be abused, EXO ME? Really brother.
I think Brad fell into another panic after Brad's roommate died. This may be one of the reasons why he was reluctant to identify the murderer. In a sense, he is also one of the murderers? (Personal understanding) He also stood up in the middle of the fight against the Brotherhood. In the end, he tried his best to protect the bad group without saying a word. I was stunned when I saw this. Why? Want to be recognized by the fraternity to find a sense of existence?
In short, I was disappointed with the movie. However, the film does name some problems that exist on campus: bullying, strict hierarchy and so on. Sometimes I think this brotherhood is a bit like a small group among girls. This situation may be more obvious on Japanese campuses (although I think it may exist on many campuses in many countries) Brad is not the one who wants to break the rules, he wants to integrate into the rules. IMHO I can't agree with it.
He didn't have the courage to really resist the entire Brotherhood, he was the spoiled brother, timid and useless.
After all, if he weren't played by Benzawa, I would be disgusting in this role.
But, he happened to be played by Benzawa, so he likes everything.
Just look at the face, just cute. Whatever the plot.
