The film continues the plot of the first film, but abandons the emotional entanglement in the first film, and replaces the stubbornness and persistence that a cruel fate gave birth to. In terms of visual effects, it is even better than the first film. Although it is not unprecedented in Hong Kong movies, it is absolutely unprecedented. Wu Yusen's personal style has been consolidated, and his skillful film techniques have been thoroughly used in this film. There are many touching scenes in the film, such as the scenes where Ti Lung shoots Leslie Cheung and the final farewell scene in Leslie Cheung's phone booth are impressive.
