Turkish Ottoman Empire ruled 1915-- 1917, took place ----- Armenians insisted, resulting in the death of 1.5 million ethnic massacres!
The Turkish government has so far refused to admit that this was an official premeditated massacre, but Armenia, Russia, and most Western countries believe that this is a deliberate genocide by a government that can be compared with the Jewish massacre. Some Turkey Scholars (such as Orhan Pamuk, etc.) also hold the same view. At present, more than 20 countries including Argentina, Belgium, Canada, France, Greece, Italy, Lebanon, the Netherlands, Russia, and Sweden have officially recognized this as a genocide. The European Parliament also acknowledged the "Armenian Massacre" and called the massacre a "crime against humanity." The United Nations Subcommittee on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities also classified the incident as "genocide."
This film is very touching, and the shooting did not use many false interior scenes. It is a work of love!
