Two years ago, in "The Evil", Kitano thoroughly mocked the so-called friendship of the traditional gang, and truly became a villain of all members. Two years later, as the sequel "Heavenly Evil 2" is still violent, but the feelings are different. In this work, Kitano finally expresses his deep affection for two years. On the one hand, the film lashes out the evil of human nature that has been distorted by modern values; on the other hand, it cherishes the beauty of human nature under traditional values.
