Outdated technique, but it is really impressive

Garbo is too aura. Now we can still find such actresses, but most of them are actresses in the 50s, Carina Lau and her like, while Garbo is simply playing the queen's domineering and heroic.
The problem with the movie is not Garbo, even Garbo is almost the only point. The problem is the outdated performance and screenwriting techniques at the time. The climax in the last 20 minutes is really impressive, but it is very possible that the viewer will leave the field first at 30 minutes total. So all suspense came to nothing.
