The film has a slightly slower tempo. If it weren't for the two leading actors, it would be hard for me to keep watching it. Now I am full of emotions.
The first is the Palestine-Israel conflict. This background was almost completely unknown to me before. So at first I didn’t understand why Nemo’s brother’s possession of arms in his home would harm the whole family, terrorist organization, let me go! I don't understand why there is a seemingly awesome boss, everyone is afraid of him, the secret police, let me go! It is difficult to accept that my son is a homosexual mother. I can understand, but I don’t understand why Nemo’s sister can’t marry because of this. Is homosexuality deserve to die? Let me go! ? It takes courage to cross-border, cross-racial and cross-religious homosexuality. Roy is a good man. He was so charming when he ran around for a pass. Nemo was sent back to Palestine. It was true when the two talked on the phone and shared their thoughts. Moved so much that he cried.
The second is the emotional test. The dinner for four with Roy’s parents makes it easy to see that Roy’s parents disagree with the relationship. Parents accepted that the son came out, but they could not accept the Palestinian "daughter-in-law". ! When the pass expired, Nemo had no choice but to ask Roy to fly away. Roy hesitated. I thought they would collapse. Nemo was right. He only had Roy in Israel, otherwise he would not want to stay. Come down, since there is no way to get the pass, only to leave, but Roy must be together. When Roy learned that Nimo's brother was a terrorist organization, Roy blamed Nemo for not telling him, why not be honest, and even when Nemo decided to leave him to flee alone, Roy did not stop him. But soon, Roy was agitated and blamed himself at a loss, and in the end he would spare his life for his beloved man. Personally, I have a bitter hatred for the blank space at the end of the film, but it is obvious that the pair of fateful mandarin ducks cannot fulfill the promise of meeting six days later.
Finally, thank my parents for allowing me to be born under the red flag and grow up in the spring breeze. Basically, terrorist organizations will not have trouble with me, and the police have nothing to do with me. Most importantly, I have the right to choose my partner. Even if one day I fall in love with a woman, except for my parents, hehe, no one else can care about it! ~
