The feudal ethics and ethics often poison people so much
freedom is so far away.

After reading Zhang Yimou's "Judou" and Liu Heng's "Fuxi Fuxi", I have some opinions on this movie and literary work. Since "Judou" is adapted from "Fuxi Fuxi", let's talk about this literary work first.
I have to say that Liu Heng's "Fuxi Fuxi" is really good.

The first is the theme. When this story happened, people’s thoughts and concepts were deeply influenced by feudal social hierarchy and ethical principles. As a landlord, Yang Jinshan was a representative of feudal forces. He had the supreme right in this family. In his eyes, Judou It's just a child-bearing machine, and Yang Tianqing is just one of his own laborers. Their lives are worthless, and the reason for their survival is only because Yang Jinshan can live and feed them. They have no freedom and can only live in Yang Jinshan's dyeing workshop. In fact, Yang Tianqing and Judou’s thoughts are relatively simple. As two farmers, lonely man and widow, and they are in their twenties, they have very strong fantasies about the opposite sex, freedom, and sex. A good girl is incompetent. The occupation by men is bound to cause the derailment of women, but unfortunately the object of derailment is his nephew. This approach was intolerable in that era, and it was doomed to the tragic end of their lives.

Secondly, it is the personality of the person. Yang Tianqing has become accustomed to living in such an environment for a long time. Even after Judou appeared, his weakness and incompetence can be seen in his monologue, actions and words. If he had obeyed Ju Dou once, their fate might be completely different. He was really poisoned by feudal oppression. Ju Dou's personality has also undergone changes. From the entire accident, we can see that Ju Dou is very capable of doing things. Imagine that if Yang Jinshan treats Judou like a normal wife, maybe Judou will be with him for the rest of his life, and there will be no incest between his aunt and nephew. But unfortunately, Yang Jinshan has gone crazy in order to be able to have his own children. Judou has become a tool for his inheritance. Yang Jinshan insulted Judou in every possible way. On the one hand, he wanted to have a child as soon as possible. On the other hand, he wanted to give birth to a child as soon as possible. Psychological distortions caused by the absence of children. Judou's derailment is also a revenge for Yang Jinshan's insult to him and his physical instinct. Just imagine a woman, a woman at the most erotic age, who can satisfy him, whoever is her god. Judou has already begun a struggle, which is a challenge to the feudal hierarchy and ethical principles. He defeated Yang Jinshan, but he did not defeat this society. In this story, Yang Tianbai's character is not very prominent. He gets angry when he hears other people's criticism of his mother. When Yang Tianqing told him it was his father, his performance was no different from that of our contemporary people. Although Tian Huang, Judou's second child, is excellent in all aspects, his character will determine his life. In fact, the author left us a suspense here and gave us an open ending. We can imagine what the future life of Xia Tianhuang will be like. According to the author's idea, Tianhuang will either die of illness or become a literate rascal. Why do you say that? The article mentioned that Tianhuang seems to be inherited by Yang Tianqing, and his interest in women has reached the level of drug addiction. Excessive sexual desire, sexual fantasies, and sexual behaviors can cause physical and disease aggravation. Furthermore, Tianhuang has always been brooding about his own life experience. It can be seen that his ability to bear it in his heart is not good. If he continues to be criticized, his will will be depressed, he will lose hope, and eventually become a rogue. possible.

Finally, there is a lot of dialogue and a lot of mental description in this story. I think this feature is excellent. When you finish reading this story, close your eyes and recall. What you remember is not a simple story, but their psychology. From their dialogues and psychological monologues, you can experience the changes in their emotions. Their psychology is constantly changing. The serious point is that they promote the development of this story in their hearts. On the other hand, dialogue and psychological description enriched the story, making it feel flesh and blood after reading it. Speaking of this, just insert a few words. There are very few psychological descriptions in Su Tong's "Wife and Concubine". After reading the two stories, you will find that "Wife and Concubine" seems to be just a pile of bones on the human body, while "Fuxi Fuxi" It's obvious that there is flesh and blood. Of course, this is an advantage, but at the same time, the disadvantage is that the theme is not very obvious.

After talking about Liu Heng's "Fuxi Fuxi", now let's talk about Zhang Yimou's "Judou". In fact, this film by Zhang Yimou is quite a big adaptation of the original work.

First of all, the theme is more clear. After reading "Ju Dou", everyone will obviously feel that the social hierarchy and Gangchang ethics under the feudal forces are so oppressive and persecuted to human nature. Ju Dou and Yang Tianqing put in so much effort, and even their lives did not escape the clutches of fate.

Secondly, it is color. An important feature of Zhang Yimou's film is the use of color. The first half of the tone is red, and the back becomes blue-gray. When the two are happy together, vent their sexual desires, and imagine a good life, they are red. When Yang Jinshan is in charge and the day is called Father Yang Jinshan, the tone is dark. In other words, when Yang Tianqing and Judou were fighting feudal forces, ethical principles, and pursuit of freedom, the director agreed and was delighted, and gave them a beautiful vision. But the director himself understands that in such a society and in such an era, such things are impossible to happen.

Again, another major feature of Zhang Yimou's films is that he is good at using intentions. Here are five intentions. The first one, everyone remember the big red cloth. When Yang Tianqing and Judou had sex for the first time, the big red cloth continued to fall into the pool from a height. This is the release of their two sexual desires and the beginning of their ethical challenges. In the end, when Yang Tianqing died, the big red cloth continued to fall into the pool. This is the end of the struggle. The second one is fire. When Yang Jinshan was paralyzed, she tried her best to burn Judou to death, but she didn't succeed. But in the end Judou lit the fire by herself, indicating that she did not escape Yang Jinshan to death. The palm of the hand, speaking bigger, didn't break through this layer of ethics even to death. The third one, I remember when Yang Qingshan was peeping at Judou, it was through a small hole, where was the last time they had sex? In a big hole, from the beginning of the small hole to the end of the big hole, it shows that their struggle has been a long time, and they have also won some victories. People suffocate. Fourth, remember that the elders in the family discussed the name Shima for Judou’s children. A beam of light fell on the heads of several elders, indicating that here, they are the heavens here, and they are the masters here. . They represent the feudal ethics, and their rights are supreme. The fifth is Tian Bai. Tian Bai finally killed his father. What does it mean? It shows that Tianbai has also become the defender and executor of the Gangchang Etiquette. It is not a great irony that the son killed his father. This shows that in this society, no one wants to challenge ethics, no one wants to challenge feudalism. There is only one consequence of disobedience, which is death.

Finally, it is compared with the original work, and there are many changes, such as Yang Tianqing's age. There is a flaw in the original work that the relationship between Yang Tianqing and Judou was slowly accumulated during the long-term relationship, which is reasonable and logical. In the film, it seems a bit abrupt. When you read the original work, you will find it is full, but watching the film is very thin. But the theme is more obvious.

The following briefly talk about Su Tong's "Wife and Concubine Groups" and Liu Heng's "Fuxi Fuxi":

Su Tong's "Wife and Concubine Groups" and Liu Heng's "Fuxi Fuxi", these two novels can be said to have their own merits, Zhang Yimou's film is more inclined to show the theme, and "Judou" is the feudal ethics of "Fuxi Fuxi". The squeeze is vividly displayed, and the theme is more clearly displayed. The same is true of "Raise the Red Lantern", which is adapted from "Wives and Concubines". However, it is obvious that the prominence of the themes in the two original works is not so focused and obvious, which is more prominent and focused in Zhang Yimou's film. "Wife and Concubine Crowd" tends to explain a concept, and the result is that only the bones of the human body are seen, while "Fuxi Fuxi" has not only the conception, but also psychological activities and dialogue, which enriches the readability of this story. Sex makes the whole story seem flesh and blood. The above is purely personal opinion, please criticize and advise if it is inappropriate.
