The film won the Golden Bear Award at the 56th Berlin Film Festival in 2006.
The film tells a story between a woman and her daughter. The heroine is a single mother who raises a teenage girl alone. The life of the two is relatively distressed, at this time the heroine is troubled by the expense of her daughter's outing. So, the heroine came to a bar to work, and met a man at work. The daughter did not study well in school, and she also met a boy, and the two often met in private. At the same time, the daughter learned that as long as the father is a martyr, she can go on an outing for free, so she asked the heroine several times. The heroine is noncommittal, and she is carrying her daughter around to collect money, even borrowing money from the boss. This made the boss very angry, but fortunately the man the heroine knew helped, the heroine was not attacked. Afterwards, the heroine collected enough money through a friend and gave it to the school, but the daughter did not appreciate it, and asked her father hard about it. In this way, the heroine tells her daughter that she was raped before giving birth. As a result, the mother and daughter had a big quarrel, and the daughter even pointed the boy's gun at the mother. Finally, the heroine personally sent her daughter to an outing.
