Not a thriller horror movie

There are great ideas in the script, but the director was unable to successfully show these highlights on the big screen. Perhaps this subject matter is really difficult to express in the language of the film, and this itself is the script of a stage play in Ireland. If the director is not Hideo Nakata, I am really not interested in paying attention. The film was shortlisted for the 2010 Cannes Film Festival "A Kind of Attention", I guess it was also for the director's name. In fact, this is not a thriller or horror movie at all. It just describes a group of young men and women who are addicted to the Internet and gradually divorced from reality. After reading it, I felt unable to help those young people get rid of Internet addiction or eliminate suicidal thoughts. This may be where the film fails the most.
