The rate of rape of US female soldiers during service may be as high as one-third.
According to the 2010 Fiscal Year Military Sexual Assault Annual Report released by the U.S. Department of Defense on March 1, 2011, of the 3158 reported incidents, 529 were transferred to court, accounting for only 16.7%.
