It's really old-fashioned. . .

By today's standards, and by adult standards, the story is really old-fashioned. From the first 15 minutes, you can roughly infer the ending.

Although the gangsters are full of evil deeds, they are not bad in nature and eventually become good people;
rich people are trapped by money and cannot get rid of their greedy nature, and eventually die for money;
good people pursue wealth, but through a series of experiences, they find that they are better than money. Something more valuable. . .

This kind of story is always in this context.

If the film length is one and a half hours, it is acceptable, but 3 hours is not worth it.

The best part of the film, as far as I am concerned, there is only one line: After a cowardly and cowardly doctor discovered his courage, not only dared to fight pirates, but also overcome the fear of power, he said:

We don’t May always be the imaginary self, we are not always the men we hoped we would be.

This sentence is not only the truth, but also the art.

Treasure Island quotes

  • Long John Silver: I say she's a lovely ship, sir. Well chosen.

    Squire Trelawney: Thank you.

    Long John Silver: She's got an arse on her that would sit well on any rollicking sea. I always say a man who could choose a good horse could choose a good ship, just by looking at its arse. And you, sir, look like a man who knows his way around a horse's arse.

  • Long John Silver: The rumor is the map was yours too. You've not seen it?

    Jim Hawkins: I don't know.

    Long John Silver: It would be a large piece of paper that would look like a map.
