It's just that this kind of literary adaptation is actually a double-edged sword. Because of the title of "Wuthering Heights", it is obviously beneficial to expand the audience, but everyone must compare it with the original imprint in their hearts. This kind of comparison has always been difficult to have movies. Victory, as an author's film at the same time, has a tendency to read the original work, which will inevitably bring about the fixed thinking of the film, which also loses part of the film's richer extension.
So I prefer to regard this film as just a visualized reading of a half-book by Andrea Arnold, rather than a propositional composition, which satisfies some readers’ projections of the original work very well.
