The movie tells the story of Stanley, a fourth-grade kid who is very popular with teachers and classmates at school. Teacher Rose likes his composition and speech skills, as well as creativity.
But he never brought a boxed lunch to school. His Hindi teacher, nicknamed Kado, never brought a box lunch, always eats other people's box lunch. Stanley's classmates shared their box lunches with him, but they had to hide them from Mr. Cardo. Cardo finally found that they were eating a boxed lunch on the balcony, and he told Stanley not to come to school without a boxed lunch. So Stanley didn't go to school for many days. The classmates and teachers were very upset. Finally one day, Stanley brought delicious food and asked his classmates to share it. Teacher Cardo was ashamed, he left the school. In a school competition, Stanley achieved very good results. Teacher Rose said he wanted to take him home by the way, but he refused. He said his mother was waiting for him in the car. Later, the principal of the school sent him home, and he ran home quickly. Finally, the reason Stanley didn't have a box lunch was that he was an orphan. He worked in a small hotel. He packed the box lunch from the leftovers of the hotel and took it to school, but he told everyone that his mother made it. At the end of the movie, he said good night to the picture of his mother. The picture resembled Mr. Ross, and it also explained why he liked Mrs. Ross so much.
