Cruel fairy tale

There is a kind of film that looks relaxed, bright, warm and happy, and the viewer has no burden at all. In the process of telling the story, something is slowly introduced, but it will not impose anything on the viewer, just let people feel and appreciate in the flow-like narration. Finally, there was an unexpected climax, and the aftertaste was abruptly stopped. I like this kind of movie, not tired to watch, but I have some trust. "Uncle Mowing" is undoubtedly a typical representative of this type of movie.
The tone of the whole film is warm and bright, and the music is also good. With the wanton Sa Huan'er starring the male and female actors, it is really vivid. Seeing a big and a small couple dancing on the roof of the car, the viewer is also in a "great mood."
This reminds you of some of the times you have experienced, going crazy with your close friends, connecting with your lover, and meeting people in peace... Such simple happiness squeezes out other emotions, and you even forgot the previous day. You are still struggling with the rent, annoyed by the broken electrical appliances, and even worrying about whether to spend ten yuan more for lunch. At the same time, this kind of happiness is too pure. It is purely to make you feel that God has given you such a great gift, and it makes you feel that you can only express your gratitude even if you lose something.
Sure enough, something has to be lost. The eyes of others will always refract you several times, and finally become totally unrecognizable. You can't ask for anything, because if you are an outsider, when you look at others, you will inevitably use this kind of perspective to judge. The difference between everyone is only in the degree of worldliness.
As the wanton small world of the two people is getting better and better, the viewers' worries are getting stronger. There can be no such a calm world. The better this world is, the greater the possibility of being broken, and the shorter the time limit for being broken. Sure enough, misinterpretation, malice, bullying, and the violence of outsiders grew more and more, finally destroying this small world.
When Sam hit the dog on the lawn, he seemed to have seen all the negative energy he had thrown at him and he could not digest all the negative energy released. Like a bomb, it "banged" into a violent action of hitting the dog. The dog chasing him, unfortunately, became the last straw to crush him. And the girl, after witnessing all this, seemed to see the once perfect little world, destroyed in an instant, so she ran home crying bitterly.
Ironically, at the end of the film, the scene where three men beat Sam is just like the scene where Sam beats a dog. How can it be? This is the case in the absurd world. The strong beat the weak, and the weak beat the weaker. What about the weakest? I can only fight a dog. And stop and think, what is the essential difference between the strong, the weak, these people, those people, and all the people in this process? They are bullied by those who are stronger than themselves, and they are bullied by those who are weaker than themselves.
The girl saw this scene and picked up the gun in her hand. She doesn't understand the law and has no worries. In her world, defending that small world is the top priority; to save that person is to save the entire world. At the end of the fairy tale, the protagonist escapes smoothly. With the flood of towels and the forest where the comb grew, the protagonist turned his head and looked surprised, and then drove away with tears in his eyes.
This kind of treatment seems abrupt and far-fetched, but thinking about it, there really is no better ending. What else can be done? Cruelly ruin everything, let the uncle mower go to jail, let the girl become a good girl under the supervision of her parents? Or let the girl take herself as a hostage and run away with Uncle Mowing? Or let a group of hypocritical middle-class souls suddenly awaken and let go of everything in the past?
Each ending is miserable. So it can only end with a fantasy, unbelievably perfect ending. But in the face of this perfection, there is clearly a voice-over saying: Impossible, there is no good ending, the fairy tale ending appears just to show the powerlessness and cruelty of reality. You can imagine the endless absurdity, desolation and helplessness behind this perfect surprise.
