Abandoned, twice

This is a very interesting comedy movie, adapted from the real experience of Steve Galluccio.

It tells the story of an Italian family living in an Italian community in Montreal. The background feels a bit like Touch of Pink. They are Canadian comedies with exotic cultures.

When I watched this movie, I laughed and cried, I was angry and moved. It can be said to be a very good movie. The story is relatively fast-paced, the slightly exaggerated performance shows the humor of many Italians, and the soundtrack is also very good.

It is very difficult to do something that is not conservative in a conservative environment. This is also true in China.

When a group does not accept such love, there are only three ways to go. The first way, never let others know. This is difficult to maintain. The second way, like Angelo, is completely open, no matter what others think. The third way, like Nino, always hide yourself, do what you don’t want in your heart for the sake of others’ opinions.

Too many Chinese have chosen or are choosing the difficult third way, which has also caused many social and family problems.

When I saw Nino leave Angelo for the second time, I really wanted to cry. A peaceful, sweet and happy life came to an abrupt end because of Nino's so-called self-esteem, twice. Nino has always loved Angelo, but he can't bear the pressure of public opinion. He can and can only always think of the best friend when he was a child, the Angelo he always loved.

Angelo is the most injured one. He has been waiting for Nino, but he was abandoned for the second time after waiting. Angelo and Nino are actually uncomfortable.

I have experienced similar things, but in the events I experienced, there was no Angelo, and we were both cruel Ninos.

Nino is married, Angelo can no longer wait stupidly, he is desperate, he can only move on, so he decided to give someone a chance. At the same time, he also gave himself a chance. Both career and love have made great progress, but... if I were Angelo and lost Nino, I would always miss him. After all, two people have experienced so much.

In the end, Nino was not released. I think Nino must be very touched by seeing the happy life of Angelo's family and seeing this story on the stage and screen.

The family issues in the play ended in a happy ending. Angelo's parents finally accepted Angelo and his boyfriend after experiencing so many "accidents". Sitting in the theater watching Angelo's play about their family laughed.

The ending is very happy, but this is just a movie.
