New feelings after reading it a few more times

Recently I read FS again, and I have a new feeling: FS can be said to be Maud's exploration of his own emotions.

FS movies (regardless of the book) are not like TTV where Nancy has no interest in men and the love between Margaret and her younger siblings in Affinity. Before the arrival of Su, Maud was turned into "sexual frigidity" in a closed environment and obscene books. "Although I come into contact with obscene books every day, I don't feel excited at all. But Su's arrival made her change. The specific change should happen the first night. Maude discovered that someone cared about her own cold and warm and treated her so well. The daytime guards were put down, and she began to feel a cordial dependence on the girl in front of her. So I was awakened by the nightmare, and then I thought about Su's company in panic. At first I thought this was one of Maud's temptations, but now I think this is the beginning of Maud's discovery of his lust-desire for the embrace of a girl.

The movie is divided into two parts. In Su’s part, the two use poker to tell fortunes, dance, and grind their teeth with thimbles until they talk at the grave. Although the audience sees Maude’s twinkling eyes and rapid breathing, they do not necessarily think that it is this time. What other illusions does Maude have about Su. When Maud’s part is re-narrated here, the audience realizes that Maud has long been obsessed with Su's body. Corresponding to the first part again, it can be concluded that since the first night, Sue in Maud’s eyes is not only a friend of Romance, but also the object of his own lust. Therefore, when the two play cards, when they grind their teeth, they do not dance when they are dancing. De's performance is clearly the result of lust catalyzing, and after talking at the grave, it becomes more clear.

In the first part, both of them suppressed their feelings. Su was worried about exposing the plan, but more cowardly, worried about the ridicule on Rand Street. Maude didn't say, in fact, he wasn't sure whether Su cared about himself as a sister or love between lovers? So she tried to figure this out time and time again. She finally succeeded in the test, but the next day Su De escaped or hurt her. She said Su was just a trap to herself, so why couldn't she frame her? Most of the elements here are angry, otherwise, how could there be village eroticism? Smile. Most of Maude felt that Su dare not face it, so he should take the initiative.

In the cottage, Maude said "you have done this before for the sake of tonight", which translates as "you have done this before for the sake of tonight". In fact, if you carefully figured it out, it should be "You have done this in the name of tonight", that is, Maude thought that Su wanted to satisfy her personal love in the name of "education", that is, Maude thought that Su and himself were Fellow travelers too. The aggressiveness under the rush of lust is full and fierce. Unexpectedly, being hit by Su again, Maude was angry the next day and said that she didn't love me and I didn't love her, which is evident in her childishness.

Until this time, Maude still had physical desires for Su. When Maude put on a brooch for Su and realized that she was leaving herself, she realized that she had some other reluctance for Su besides desire. It was the beginning of Maude's realization of his love. In fact, Maude had no hope for Su Ai herself, but she gave up love but did not give up love. When she fell on Rant Street, she still wanted to escape to save Su. After all the dust settled, Maude returned to the manor, still writing his thoughts.

The second half requires more skill than the first half. Because in the second half, Maude's feelings are more complicated. On the surface, the waves are calm, and the undercurrents inside are turbulent. It depends on the changes in the eyes to express the inner activities. Once it is not well grasped, it will easily become sluggish or absent-minded. In just a few tens of seconds, as Aunt Sachsby said, Maude can express feelings of fear, surprise, anger and sadness with only his eyes, and EC's ability to use eyes is not low.

Maude is masculine, proud, independent and stubborn, but for the sake of love, he can let go of his pride and succumb to Su's cowardice (of course, Su also understands in the end). Maude's eyes are filled with determination and disobedience, and he has the ability to calmly analyze the situation. For example, after knowing that his aunt is his mother, he immediately changes from confrontation to cooperation, and then wins the trust of the other party. In the end, Maude and his aunt talked in prison. The look in Maude's eyes when he said, "I will never tell Su the secret," it really makes people think that he is a man who loves Su. So why is Maud receiving? Doesn't this just confirm the highest state of love, "Let her attack if you love her"? Otherwise, what is the performance of Mord in the village like a sufferer?

I admire Maude's firm conviction. Once you have determined your feelings for Su, you will never doubt it. Regardless of the early hints, the bold show of love in the cottage, the nostalgia after being rejected, the fleeing on Rant Street, the writing in the manor, Maude gave up the hope of love for himself but never gave up loving him. On the eve of the wedding, Maude's eyes flickered suspiciously when he looked at Su, because he was not sure what feelings Su had for him, so he could only test and frighten him repeatedly. After finally confessing, Maude looked at Su again with bold and confident eyes, knowing that Su would definitely accept his kiss. I love Maude so much that whenever I see Su, his eyes are so scorching and affectionate.

Therefore, Maud is a person who has a natural tendency but only discovers himself afterwards. Her discovery is rather a process of "insight", a process of searching for a name, and experiencing the leap of emotions one by one in a moment. While sketching by the river, Maude was involuntarily obsessed with Su's body, and she made it clear what the name of her obscure desire was—a homosexual desire. So she clarified her direction and became bolder afterwards. When wearing a brooch for Su, Maude realized his desire for Su Yuan beyond his body, but an emotional attachment. The separation of Rand Street adds to this miss. The last reunion made her sure that this is love.
